The part works fine and wasn't too awfully difficult to install, though it wasn't extremely simple either. Instructions were in "pictographs" so they didn't have to translate. Sold in the US, they should be in English. With modern translation devices & software, there's no need to worry about translation costs, and especially with a part this expensive, there's no excuse. What would it take, a little more paper and ink? And their diagrams lack detail and are very difficult to follow.I felt I should get brand name for such an important part. It hurt to pay so much money when the printer cost me about $800 in the first place (brand name toner set costs almost as much as the printer, too!). I think the original belt should have lasted longer than just a few years, and replacement should be half the price. It makes me pause before buying another high-end Oki printer.All that being said, it works fine and while the instructions were horrible, it wasn't too hard to figure out how to install.
