Very happy with thise reel. I have been hooked on the Pflueger Supreme XT's lately and have a number of them. I decided to mix it up and try something different with a new, ultralight rod I purchased. I gave this one a shot and couldn't be happier. It is very light, and very smooth. It's an ultralight rig so until I have a four pound largemouth smash my bluegill lure, I won't really have a chance to test the drag. However, it feels very nice if I pull the line to by hand.A great reel, and I plan on purchasing a larger size to go with this one soon!

Paired with a med light abu rod for primarily snap jigging eyes. This reel is super light and extremely smooth. Meets and exceeded my expectations. Compared to reels twice the price it definitely holds its own.

A very smooth and light reel. This would be my fourth Okuma reel added to my trout slaying arsenal. These reels are work horses . Let one of my fishing buddies use my setup , cus he was using something cheap from the 80’s. This was no fish story being told here… he casted bout 7 times and from the very first one , caught every time! That was pure joy for both him and myself to experience in the eastern sierras.
