Exactly what I needed to shorten my hydraulic hoses. I have a cutter (i.e. fancy razor blade) and fitting press. If you don't have a press tool, you can carefully hold the line and tap the metal fitting into the line with a hammer. Then reinstall with the bushing that is self crimping, bleed the line, and you're done.
