Did not work, good quality but wasn’t long enough and didn’t fit.

Good product. I had a tiny amount of wiggle in my shaft which gave me about an inch of play on the wheel. This was my only source of looseness so the shaft solved my problem. Drives much better now. To install this:1. Remove lower dash panel.2. Remove the 4 bolts holding the steering column to the bracket.3. Remove the 2 bolts holding column to firewall.4. Remove air cleaner box.5. Totally remove bolts on both ends of the old shaft.6. Use a chisel or screwdriver and hammer to widen slots at each end of old shaft.7. Pull back on the wheel while sitting in the seat to disconnect the shaft. Use pry bar of needed to remove whatever end remains connected.8. Installation is the reverse, but use the hammer and chisel trick to open the slots on the new shaft just a hair to make installation easier. Having an assistant push the steering wheel in while you guide the shaft helps. Takes less than an hour.

Used this steering shaft to update from the worn out rag joint on my 88 silverado. Worked great with my other suspension and steering upgrades! Will definitely be doing this on my other projects in the future.

I used this as an upgrade from the rag joint on my 89 K5 4wd, I thought my truck drove pretty tight as it is well maintained. After years of procrastination, unable to find a salvage piece at a reasonable cost, I did this swap. Perfect fit. Melted the plastic loose, cleaned, lubed, spread the ears a tiny bit and it went on like it had eyes. What a difference!

Works good on my 1985 chevy k20. Had to modify a little but fits perfect now. You have to warm up the shaft where the plastic is inside to adjust it and open up the coupling on the colom side of the shaft and grove the colom shaft so the bolt can go through.

This product works and fits as intended. My only complaint about this product is that the manufacturer should weld the bottom rod to u joint. My old OEM piece is welded and is still strong 30 years later.

I used this on the 1992 Jeep Cherokee Laredo. Had it over a month without problems. It was an easy install just had to unbolt the steering column from the interior.

Perfect my K5 Blazer build! Did not have to cut the shaft to make it fit.For the bad reviews of people whining, these shafts DO NOT collapse or extend without heating the middle part and melting the locking plastic first. The OEM Jeep shaft is the same exact way. A torch must be used to loosen up the plastic. There are some videos out that show this. To correctly install this without using a torch, the steering box or column must be unbolted to get this on.

These shafts say they come compressed, but there is no way to get them to fit. They seem to come extended out, and you actually need to compress the shaft at least 1 inch to get it to slide on to the shaft. Need to try a better aftermarket solution. Oh, and there are no instructions in the packaging to address this issue or how to get it to fit.
