I bought a practically brand new LuiXi workshop violin at a garage sale . From what I can tell, it’s worth between $250-500 ; I got it for $125 to be my main practice violin . Besides a new set of strings, I put these fine tuners on and it really makes a difference and saves time with quick adjust if needed. Easy to install and definitely worth the tiny investment on an instrument I use every day.

So, for a violin with a certain type of tail piece, these would probably be fine. Unfortunately, they didn't fit on the tailpiece of the fiddle I bought them for. I'll try them on my other old violin. Its not worth sending them back. Just be aware buyers. Quality wise, I think they are fine, but there is no way to adjust length. I need it literally 1/8 of an inch longer.

Diese Feinstimmer sind nicht mit allen Seitenhalter kompatibel. Bei meiner Geige kann ich sie nur für sehr minimale Korrekturen einsetzen.

I bought an old violin and had to replace the strings and fine tuners. I bought these and they worked just fine for what I needed. I don't play every day, but I have had no trouble with them, and they have been on my violin for over 6 months now.

I planned to install these on a "lower quality" student violin, to make it easier for a young player to tune. Absolute garbage. The string slot was too narrow for the ball end winding to fit in. That normally would not be a big deal on better tuners, but not on these. They're not even worth the trouble to return.

These work great, provide a nice range of fine tuning, install easily and are very sturdy.

Really precise fine tuners. They hold up well and were very easy to instal. They also lose very little torque which is something that I love since I pre stretch my strings. On a good day I can tune my instrument using only theses fine tuners that I've installed and when you're going for a song that is heavy on the high notes these help you pick up the extra slack so your finger has to do less work on the fly.

These aren't bad, they turn ok, not as smoothly as some I've bought. They are a tad on the short side, making the ball end of the string touch the tailpiece.

They're really no different then your typical off the shelf fine tuners. It is a pack of four and the screws are plated or enameled or something. When unscrewing the pins, the enamel will come off revealing the brass metal underneath. No matter, its inconspicuous and they function just fine. No drifting or side-cocking of the lever arm.
