The springs seemed to be very well made, and they're very sturdy. They're easy to use, but can be difficult to clean when using with rice. The metal scratches and gets bent easily, so be careful when storing these with other utensils. I'd still recommend these to anyone who wants to try making cute bento box meals!

These arrived with the metallic finish already worn off or scratched off in some places, and the hard edges of the molds have not been smoothed, giving the impression that these were very cheaply made. Also, these are not polished to a mirror finish like the photos suggest and do not appear to be what I consider "high-quality stainless steel" as described in the listing.I like the cute heart and star shapes, and the fact that the molds are plain/non-branded, but that's it. I would not feel comfortable having these touch my food directly so the current price of $19.99 for this 2-pack is not a good value in my opinion.

I make salmon onigiri at least once a month, and use a traditional silicone triangle mold by hand, but wanted new shapes. These stainless steel molds are super easy to use. You pack the open end with rice, and use the plunger to press the rice together. This is perfect for beginners, and kids learning to make their own rice shapes.

While these are cute and can mold rice into shapes, they had just too much lead when I wiped it with cooking oil before I used it.Since this set is more for the kids, I'm concerned with using it as is.I adopted using the saran wrap between these and rice instead so it can help prevent grains and small food parts getting stuck at the gap.

The grands love sticky rice but they love it even more when it is on their plate in a star or heart shape. The mold is easy to use, releases the rice easily and it's easy to clean.

I ordered this to make it fun for a picky eater. The shape makes it “fun” to eat. The material is very durable, is easy to wash and dry, and lasts longer than others.
