We've ended up with a few different car and track systems over the years but this one seems very smart. Because the track pieces are hinged instead of solid you can use them as straight track or curved, no more designing the perfect race course only to find you don't have the right number of curved track pieces. The car eyes lighting up is a fun touch and I like that they use AAA batteries instead of some weird size I don't have on hand. The track is easy to assemble and there's a nice mix of colors and terrain types. If you know a kid who loves dinosaurs and racing this is a great gift choice.

Definitely good value. My niece and nephew are obsessed with this. They love how flexible the track is without breaking and all the little pieces that came with it. Will probably buy another one so they can extend further since they love it so much

This is a great toy and is perfect for teaching younger kids about basic mechanical/engineer concepts- all the better if your kids are into dinosaurs like mine are. The track sections fit together perfectly and allow for tight curves, bumps, hills, and dips. They stay together fine while in use, but separate easily when you want to reconfigure them. They're a little tricky for my 3 year old to click together but the 5 year old has no problem with them. The kids like putting small blocks under the tracks to make the road a bit bumpier but the cars handle it just fine. The cars go through batteries relatively quickly but it's money well spent to keep the kids occupied and engaged. The switch pieces are particularly fun because they can be used to manually change the route of the cars, or they can be set up in a way to keep the track as a continuous, direction changing loop. The kit comes with several signs to add to the realism, each sign has its own sticker and some of the tiny ones are hard to install properly, but that's the only "difficult" part of the set up and you only have to do it once.My only real complaint is that it is VERY difficult to make everything fit back into the box once it's been opened. I wish the box was a bit bigger just so the kids could dump everything back in when they're done playing- instead it's almost like a puzzle to make everything fit back inside. I would recommend this toy to any kid who likes dinosaurs, cars, or building, but I'd also recommend getting a better bin for storage when not in use.

The dinosaur toys race track is a good designed train set for kids aged 3-7. It has 188 pieces, including a race track, two dinosaur cars with lights, and eight dinosaur fossil skeletons. This engaging set can stimulate creativity and imaginative play. It's lightweight and durable. Kids can have fun assembling the small pieces, racing the fast speedy small size cars with fun lights and sounds, and role playing. Assembly can easy for older children.

The tracks are very easy to make turns and twist. You can make it longer you can make it shorter. All of the children in the house love it, but are nonverbal autistic boy is thrilled with it.

I thought it would be compatible with another set I have like this but it’s not. The other set has a bigger track piece than this. The cars for this smaller track can be run on the bigger track and we can leave a space in between the bigger and smaller tracks and the cars can run from one to the other. Still fun, although not the same. Some of the stickers I couldn’t figure out where they should go, which doesn’t matter.

We love making tracks, long tracks, winding roads, and watching the cars go around in the dark. And with kids that love dinosaurs, this is an even better addition.

These cars can go for days, just turn it on and watch it go! The kids loved making different tracks and building bridges with it. This will definitely keep kids busy for a while!
