If you are looking for timing tools for the older Ford 3.5 or 3.7 tools, theses are the perfect set at a much better price point than the factory tools. If you have ever used the factory tools, or have done timing on one of these engines before, you know that the tools tend to slip or raise up when tightening the vct bolts, these tools are very tight on the cams and do not allow for that movement. They are made of quality metals, and machined to fit snug on the cams and work as intended. I would absolutely recommend these for mechanics in need.

These are meant to hold your camshafts in place while you're replacing the timing chain. Once you remove the chain the camshafts can actually turn caused by the pressure of the valve springs. This comes with both hold down tools, a splind bit for the cam phasers, and a piece for the timing chain tensioner. On top of that it all comes in a case, keeps everything in one place. The holders themselves are made of half inch steel, so there should never be any problem with them.
