This Orolay Women's Winter Down Jacket Slim Fit runs small but I love it.First off, I read other reviews so I sized up one size and I was delighted to find it fits me perfectly. There isn't a lot of extra room sizing up just one size so I don't think I could wear a bulky sweater underneath. This is just fine for me because I live in Texas and it doesn't get crazy cold here but if it does where you live, I suggest sizing up 2 sizes. Likewise, if you have a large bust or larger arms. They really mean it when they say slim fit.The key features on this coat are that it's long enough to cover your bottom and your upper thighs. The hemline is shaped so that it's much longer in the back than the front so you'll be warm even sitting on bleachers or benches. It has sewn in ribbed cuffs with thumb holes so NO cold air whistling up your sleeve. It has multiple pockets with zip closures so you can keep your phone and other necessities safe and secure. There are double vents at the back hem with metal, snap. closures. There is a front zip closure and an attached hood. The insulation is 90% duck down and 10% feathers. The outer shell and lining is 100% woven polyester so it's lightweight.This is a channel quilted, puffer, coat that is unique because of the styling. The cut and construction is slim so you don't look like the Sta-Puff Marshmallow Man! The length makes you look taller and slimmer. It's very warm so I was comfortable in 25 degree weather without any extra clothing layered underneath. I got the blue because I mostly wear blue jeans. They go great with this coat.

I wanted a winter jacket for the cold of Boston. Since I’m Latina I wanted something that was really warm because I am not used to such temperatures, but that it was light too. This jacket was perfect. I never felt cold in the upper part of my body and used the jacket for days without feeling it was heavy. Even though it is white, it doesn’t get dirty easily and it resisted some drops of water too. I am 1.56 meters and 52 kilos and the small size was perfect for me. I could even say it was a bit loose from the waist, so it’s comfortable if you want to use many layers. Definitely the investment it is worth it!

When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised with the look, style, fit, and warmth. However, I soon found out that I couldn't depend on the zipper to function properly. It malfunctioned everything I used it. I either couldn't get it up or apart. I sadly had to return it.

After wearing this coat in super cold weather (25F degrees) a few times, I am resubmitting my original review and adding another star. I still consider it a "dressy" coat and would not wear it snowmobiling, BUT ... it is VERY, VERY warm and the length helps keep my whole body nice and cozy. The fit is nice and tailored (almost slimming). And the high collar (separate from the hood) works very well to keep cold wind off my neck. I found the black sleeve cuffs a tad tight (esp if you have big hands) but tolerable. The double zipper is FANTASTIC (it's sturdy and works perfectly). AND best of all there are LOTS of pockets. I was going to save it for just dressy events but have found it to be so comfortable and functional that I've been grabbing it first (before my other coats) ever since I got it. I really LOVE this coat -- THANKS !!!

I'm a very pear-shaped person and this is a very pear-shaped coat, so it was a good fit. A very rare instance where the arms were a bit tight on me but the hips fit comfortably -- I'm 5'7", 245 pounds and a 38C/XL on top and a size 20/2X on bottom, and I got an XXL. The only issue was a slight pulling on the arms but otherwise it's a nice basic coat, and the tightness around the shoulder is only noticeable if you have to reach out for something. It does also make a swishing sound when you move, but I don't think that's a huge deal. Not perfect, but a decent coat, good enough that I'm keeping it. I paid $68 for it on sale and I don't think it's worth more than that.

Morbidissimo, tiene caldo ma non appesantisce per niente. Vestibilità, qualità e rifiniture eccellenti. La confezione con cerniera che lo contiene è praticissima per riporlo nei mesi estivi o per portarlo in valigia poiché prende veramente poco spazio. Ho acquistato il colore grigio. L'effetto satinato del rivestimento esterno rende il capo raffinato. Per quanto mi riguarda non saprei indicare un difetto di alcun genere. Certo, ha il suo costo e devo dire che ero un po' perplessa ma dopo averlo ricevuto ed indossato posso affermare che sicuramente lo ricomprerei di nuovo.

Eine gute Entscheidung war es, dass ich diese Daunenjacke von Orolay gekauft habe. Und…ich hab mir einige Jacken angeschaut. Kürzere, längere, mit Kapuze und ohne mit verschiedener Materialzusammensetzung und Wettereigenschaften.Entschieden habe ich mich für diese gesteppten Wintermantel weil er mit 90 % weiße Entendaunen und 10 % Federn versehen ist und gute Wärmeeigenschaften hat. Das Obermaterial besteht aus 100 % Polyester ist wasserabweisend und hat sich bei eisigen Wind sehr gut bewährt. An der guten Materialkombi hatte ich mich diesen Winter bei zweistelligen Minusgraden und eisigen Wind schon einige Male daran gefreut. Der Wintermantel absolut winddicht und sooo warm. Darunter hatte ich einen ganz normalen Winterpulli getragen. Also nicht mehrere Lagen und mir war es trotz der Kälte warm.Die Jacke ist dann mit einem gut laufenden Reißverschluss versehen und kann bis zum Kinn hochgezogen werden,damit auch der Hals gut geschützt ist und kein Windchen reingeht. Am Hals finde ich es dann ganz geschlossen ein bisschen eng, wenn der Reißverschluss dann bis ganz oben zugezogen ist. Aber das ist das Einzigste was ich jetzt zu bemängeln habe.Was das Optische anbelangt, den Schnitt der Daunenjacke der gefällt mir durch die Absteppungen richtig gut und schaut sehr lässig aus. Hinten etwas länger nach vorne etwas kürzer. Die Tasche hat dann genügend Taschen (4 Stück - Brust und seitlich bei der Hüfte), die ebenfalls mit stabilen Reißverschluss versehen ist.Die Jacke hat dann einen Stehkragen mit fest angenähter Kapuze, die durch den integrierten Gummizug im Kapuzenteil dann wenn’s richtig windig und kalt ist dann sehr gut schützt. Die Kapuze finde ich von der Weite optimal geschnitten. Nicht zu eng oder weit.Bei der Wahl der richtigen Jackengrösse war ich mir längere Zeit sehr unschlüssig, welche wohl die richtige Größe für mich ist. Hab mich dann für die M entschlossen. Hatte noch einen kleinen Puffer zwischen Pulli und Jacke und macht ne schöne Figur. Größe L wäre zwar für noch mehr zusätzliche Kleidung darunter vielleicht ganz gut gewesen, hätte aber dann wahrscheinlich optisch nicht mehr so gut gewirkt. Normalerweise trage ich bei Größe 38/40 Größe M, die dann gepasst hat.Die Armlänge und Mantellänge finde ich bei meinen 164 cm, die passt. Die eingenähten Bündchen an den Ärmeln liegen an, wenn man mit den Händen reinschlüpft. Es können zusätzlich noch Handschuhe darüber gezogen werden. Wer will kann die Bündchen auch ignorieren und einfach die Hände an den Ärmeln ohne rausschauen lassen.Mein Fazit:Absolut empfehlenswerte Jacke mit akzeptablen Preis Leistungsverhältnis Hatte Sie beim Kauf zu aktuell 118 Euro gekauft. Für eine Daunenjacke mehr als okay. Hält so schön warm und schaut auch noch gut aus. Passt.

After reading a bunch of reviews off of Amazon, I finally decided on this Orolay coat. I needed a practical, everyday coat for the cold and often gusty days in Ohio when I’m out walking our dogs. This one was rated quite well and I liked that it had the double zipper, was longer in length, and had a hood that didn’t have any fake fur on it. Though I like the look of those types of hoods, I’ve found that they start to look matted and gross after a while and washing it doesn’t help. So I opted for this one. If you read several of the reviews posted on here, many people said to size up and I will say that it’s true. Size up if you don’t have very skinny arms or are on the bustier side. I’m normally a medium, but I got a large instead. The arms are definitely designed more snug fitting and the hand warmers are too. Other than that advice, I’d say go for it. I’m super short so the coat hits me almost to the knees, but it’s great because it blocks out a lot of the wind and you stay nice and warm. In spite of the warmth, it’s very lightweight, doesn’t appear bulky, and figure flattering. I love how you can unzip the bottom while sitting! It makes the coat very comfortable while driving. I read many reviews that said sometimes the down inside may smell. There was zero odor when I opened it and none since. I don’t feel any feathers poking me either. It is definitely wrinkled when you first take it out of the packaging, but fluffs up nicely once you open it up and air it out a bit. I have yet to wash it so that’ll be a test to be seen, but otherwise I say go for it. It seems like a very well made coat. I got it on the Black Friday deal for under $100, and I think it’ll end up being worth every penny.

This is by far my favourite coat. It is well made, surprisingly lightweight and very warm. I love the shape and length of this coat as well as the ample amount of pockets. I like too that the hood is not overwhelming and can be adjusted to fit snugly around my head. I ordered an XS as I normally take a 6/8 and this fits perfectly with room for a thick sweater to be worn underneath. The first time I wore it I got caught in a heavy shower and I can say without a doubt that this coat is water resistant so for me this is an added bonus. Excellent value and would thoroughly recommend
