These shorts are completely uncomfortable and run small it fit like a size Large. The material is real jeans and the material thats stretchy over the tummy did not fully connect to the front of the jeans. The pictures don't show the jeans are made like that as it looks like it covers the full belly and fully connected to the shorts. The button of the pants can be undone. Not plus size friendly

I find these to be a comfortable fitting pair of shorts. I typically wear a large, but size up to an xl when buying shorts because I have big thighs and shorts are often tight on the thigh. So I bought an xl and they fit great. I took off one star for the fake waist band because it makes it bulky under my long maternity shirts. The 'tucked in look' would look odd as the fake waist band is low and would not look right. However, it's not tight on my belly and I still have some growing room. Overall a good buy and I will probably get plenty of use out of these in my next few months. I also like how the inseam is a little longer but not a Bermuda length which I'm not a fan of.

EDIT MAY 19: the company reached out to me to let me know that the "hole" in seam between the jean and the belly band is in fact intentional so that we can tuck a shirt in (duh!).... knowing this is hve changed to 5 stars...super appreciative the company reads these reviews and they were so nice in their response!Fit was good....the legs were not too snug and my legs are retaining water...length was good..a bit higher than on the model in the picture but I am also 5"11....only issue is they came with a small rip in the pregnancy ba d right where it connects to the top of the actual jeans, right in front near the button. My longer maternity shirts should cover this for now but I am worried about this pulling or getting worse as I pull them on and off.

Overall I think these will be very helpful this summer with a growing belly, but I wasn’t impressed with the quality. The belly band portion is sewn on sloppily and some of it isn’t even attached to the shorts portion. I can and will fix that but it was something to make note of. I do like the color and they are quite stretchy. I found it a little difficult to determine size and they are a bit big now but I didn’t knock off a star for that since they will likely just be a better option later on in pregnancy. I do really like that I can wear a belt with them and that they look like real shorts as opposed to other maternity shorts. That’s a really nice function.

My daughter is currently expecting. She was an XL pre-pregnancy. I ordered her the shorts in an XL. They fit her perfectly. She will be pregnant throughout the summer. The fabric is very comfortable. It is light weight. They are very well made. The extra band for her growing belly is really soft and breathable. The look is very functional and practical. The fit is true to size and she absolutely loves them. She is approximately 5'4" and the length is perfect for her. Great deal for the money

Fits fine, but runs slightly large. The wide/flared pant leg doesn’t look as cute in real life and the design isn’t super flattering. BUT, you take what you can get in maternity clothes. They’re a good length and the belly material is stretchy and comfortable, will definitely fit throughout an entire pregnancy (I’m currently 32 weeks). Decent for summer

Wow I’m very impressed. This is my first pregnancy where I’ll be very pregnant during the summer, and so the hunt for comfortable warm weather maternity clothes begins!I ordered the XL, and found them to fit comfortably with room to grow into in the coming months. The inseam length was a little long on me (I’m 5’4”) but I was able to easily roll the soft fabric up once more, making them more flattering. The shorts have a “rip” where the denim and the belly band meet, just above the faux zipper. It’s meant for tucking in a tshirt. I so appreciate this minor yet hugely important detail. I can now easily pair these shorts with a non-maternity oversized tee without looking sloppy. Sometimes you just don’t want to wear a fitted maternity top! This is a fantastic find at only $30, I’ll be wearing them all summer.

Ladies, if you've ever been pregnant in pants, I'm sure you're familiar with how it's a nightmare to find comfortable pants, that allow for baby growth, AND will reasonably stay on your butt even when carrying a smartphone in the pocket... It's a nightmare, they are either so frumpy with a drawstring that you also look frumpy OR they are so tight that any regular movements has your waistband slipping down in accordance with the laws of physics. If you want a stretchy and comfortable waistband that goes over the bump plus pockets and classic shorts style, this is your product! The button on the belly can be unfastened for a little extra wiggle room, the hip and butt pockets fit about 80% of my Google Pixel 9, very securely. The jeans of the shorts stretch well but are NOT skin tight (I ordered a size up, and I highly recommend you do as well, just be comfortable ladies!) the fabric is also lightweight and breathable. These Ovruns are far and away the BEST maternity shorts I've ever come across, and guys, I have 2 Augusts and a July baby, the September one is on the way, and I am so mad I didn't get these for the first 3 pregnancies. You will NOT regret this pair of pants.
