This is a roll of 'ceramic" grit sandpaper 70mm wide with a hook and loop backing. I have a variety of foam sanding blocks that are designed to use hook and loop sandpaper. Up to now, I've mostly used them by using a 5" sanding disk with hook and loop backing. This roll of paper is nice and thick, and has perforations every few inches so you can tear off whatever you need.I don't know if it's metric vs inch sizes, but this paper is just a little bit narrower than most of my sanding blocks. It's not a big deal, it just means that I have to move it from one side to the other, or turn the block around, to sand up to the edge on both sides. The perforations seem convenient, except that they don't really line up with any of my blocks. Again, not a big deal - I just use a utility knife to cut the length piece I need.It would be nice if they offered an assortment with different grits. If you're a big commercial shop it's no big deal to buy one or more boxes of each grit, but as a hobbyist woodworker that would be a big investment. I started with the 400 grit, since I don't have any 400 grit discs - I'll probably buy a couple of others as time goes by.

This is quality stuff! I just wish I had a hook and loop block this would fit. Guess I'll need to buy one! In the meantime, it works great for quick, hand sanding. The perforations work excellent. I think you could use a strip of two or three if you were careful and had a longer sanding block. I'm a little worried you might get some weird scratch pattern though. I can't test that theory at the moment. One last thing. I'm not sure how they want me to use the box. I settled on having the abrasive face up while using the bottom slot. Then, I can tuck it in the top slot and see the number written on the back. It seems like the way that puts the least strain on the brittle abrasive layer.

This paper is modeled after 3M 737U, arguably the best paper out there. It's not nearly as good.Which is okay.I keep budget paper around for those messy jobs that are going to destroy or clog up the paper long before the abrasive wears out. This seemed like a good candidate for that spot on the shelf. But maybe not.I ran a quick head-to-head sanding comparison between this paper, 737U (the best ceramic paper I've used), and PS33 (my go to AlOx paper). This started out with a clean, fast, aggressive cut, much like 737U (which it superficially resembles), but quickly faded. It wasn't nearly as durable and didn't have anything like the outstanding self-sharpening behavior of 737U.Not a big surprise, you get what you pay for and 737U is expensive. It did, initially at least, cut noticeably better than PS33, but didn't really outlast it.Again, not really surprising that a ceramic paper cut better than AlOx.But if I'm looking for good performance, and I put any value on my time, 737U is still the best. (710W mesh is a much better deal, with caveats, but that's another story). And if I'm looking for beater paper PS33 does a good job, at a much better price. So in the end, this is a decent ceramic paper, but I can pay a little more and get a much better product, which ends up being a better value. Or I can spend less and get something that will serve just as well on the messy jobs.Which leaves me with no real use for this.I'll use this up, and it will do it's job, but I won't be buying more of it.As a footnote, a ceramic mesh such as 710W is an even better deal if fragility of the mesh isn't a concern.

This ceramic sanding sheet roll means business. It’s aggressive right out of the gate, cutting through tough surfaces faster than standard aluminum oxide. The hook and loop backing makes swapping pieces quick and easy, and it holds tight during use—no slipping. The roll is generously sized, giving you plenty to work with, and it lasts a long time even under heavy use. If you're tired of burning through flimsy sanding sheets, this one’s a serious upgrade.

This is great sanding media, it’s great that it has a Velcro backing so I can put it on my sanding block and it lasts a long long time since ceramic is very tough, only thing is that it doesn’t tear off in the perforated areas as easily as it should, but other then that it’s really great sandpaper, and I can get two pieces for my sanding block from each piece e of the pre perforated sections by cutting in half, works great for what I di

This sandpaper works great as intended for my hand sanding pads. The roll is made to attach to hook padding and works great. The roll has perforations every three inches to easily cut or you can cut at any length needed.I have zero complaints, I use the 320 as light sanding between polyurethane coats for my woodworking projects and couldn't ask for anything more.Absolutely would order again!

This sandpaper works great! I ordered the 220 grit, which is a nice middle ground and perfect for all sorts of applications. The paper is perforated for easily tearing off short pieces, and has extraction holes, which do a great job of keeping it from packing up (depending on what you're sanding of course) and the hook and loop backing is good and solid and keeps it from sliding around on your sanding block or sander. It's also really nice having it on a roll, and the box it comes in doubles as a dispenser.Always wear eye and breathing protection when sanding. It may be a little uncomfortable and a bit of a hassle in the short term, but you will end up regretting it in the long run if you don't.As always if I encounter any issues or think of anything else to add I'll update this review!
