Received in good shape. It was well packaged and arrived undamaged. The wood was straight and had a planed surface which required minimal sanding before finishing. The walnut was mostly dark heart wood with little sap wood. Some figuring, but mostly straight grained. Very nice. Shipping was very slow. It took weeks before the package was taken to the carrier. After that, it arrived quickly.

Finally, FLAT wood. thank you thank you thank you. Oh, I build Cigar Box Guitars and it is VERY difficult to find flat wood here in Vegas.

These are 3/4x2x36" S4S (3) walnut boards that had loose knots and or holes where knots used to be! Out of 8 boards, 3 were filled with bullet holes and 2 were warped. This is not the quality you would expect when paying $30 a board ft. Some quality control is needed or maybe this is what the call good premium walnut!

I have used the walnut from the supplier for three different projects. I did not make any cutting boards. I made simple end tables. The wood has a very nice appearance. No knots or blemishes. The 3/4x2x36 and 48 inch boards were ideal. My only complaints are they varied in thickness (3/4") and a couple in the last batch were slightly warped. I would still buy them again.
