Had an 8 x8 fence post that had gotten wobbly. Dug around the post and found 90% of the post was gone. Looks like insect damage, which is odd because it is pressure treated. I needed something to stabilize the fence until I can replace the 8 x 8 in the spring. They worked perfectly. Used 4, one on each corner. Don't know if they could be a permanent fix, the metal doesn't appear as though it is galvanized and might rust. But it worked perfect for me.
