Adhesive strips must be replaced every time the display is removed for repair or upgrade purposes, these are the
highest quality adhesive stickers available but they require 100% correct installation upon perfectly clean
parts that have no trace of dirt/ dust or the previous adhesive tapes for maximum contact heat the adhesive
with hair dryer before applying
Please note:
1. When replacing, it is important to completely remove the adhesive residue, as it can cause the new adhesive to fail to bond.
2. If you are replacing the screen with a new one, please do not purchase it as the new screen cannot be perfectly bonded together.
3. The replacement process requires professional knowledge and tools, and requires professional maintenance engineers to replace.

Muy satisfecho con el producto. No olviden seguir las instrucciones de uso en iFixIt. Y ojo, algunas iMac tienen el orificio del micrófono donde puede ser cubierta por las tiras. Revisa, puede que necesites recortar ahí para despejar el microfono.

It was a little hard to get the clear backing off of the tape and one strip was not cut correctly but other than that it was fine.

Save your screen. My screen is broken because this pice of crap is useless, it's going to cost me hundreds of dollars to fix. Don't even thing about buying this, you will regret it.

Wouldn’t recommend, high chance your screen will fall off and break. I got lucky and my screen didn’t break when it fell. To remedy the situation I added dabs of super clue to the top corners

This piece of crap Adhesive tap did not even last a god damn day. It’s my sons iMac and almost hit him on the table. My screen is not cracked. Now I am out of a damn computer. I should have looked at the review. Someone has the exact same issue. Thanks for selling a piece of crap tap. Should have know better to buy from Amazon. Get crappy seller like this one. Don’t buy from this seller.

So I bought this to re-seal my display after replacing my hard disk. I meticulously cleaned and prepped the mating surfaces and triple checked the placement to make sure everything lined up as expected. Everything seemed to seal well until today, less than a month later, as my monitor fell out of the front of my iMac and the glass front broke. The display still works, but this repair will cost me 100x the cost of this poorly performing seal. I would not recommend it. Cheap and does not hold. The makeshift clear sealing tape I was using to hold the display on while I waited for this seal to be delivered would have served better than this did.
