I broke the zif connector on the trackpad when replacing the battery. This is a perfect replacment.Please note that the trackpad does not come with tools or screws. This should not be a problem.

Well fits after quite a bit of aligning and re-aligning for gaps around the case. A tedious job to do will take about 2+ hours to get the job done. Definitely need a T3 tip to remove the trackpad's screws metal plate under the battery.

This is completely different from my Retina MACbook Pro model number A1502. Even the chip board is much much thicker. No way this will fit the Macbook pro ... not even close.

Track pad looks exactly like original and worked like a charm after install. No calibration or programming needed for it to work. Note: included cable is slightly longer than original so it needs to be finessed in the case as to not fold and damage cable. In my case I used the original instead.

My trackpad and keyboard stopped working as it was liquid damage and there was a lot of corrosion on the trackpad part and trackpad cable. This trackpad came with the cable and fit perfectly into my Macbook. Disassembly was rather difficult. Especially the removing the batteries with the crazy strong adhesive. Just be careful and patient. Follow the ifixit guide for instructions.Trackpad works just like the original! Can't tell the difference from the parts. Looks and works exactly like the original.

This track-pad works just like the original one that came with the computer. It is well built and feels and looks just like the original OEM one that came with the computer. I just finished replacing it on my macbook pro which I'm writing this review in. If I had to replace my track-pad again I would order again.Update 5/12/2020: 3 years later and this thing is still working like the original one. Just wanted to give an update incase you were thinking of purchasing.
