These are a comparatively inexpensive set of brushes, so I'm not comparing them to more expensive brushes such as those made by Grumbacher, Princeton etc. These are not in the same league. But for what they are, I find them quite satisfactory. They come in a variety of smaller standard sizes, clearly marked on the handle for easy identification. The ferrules seem well secured to the handles, which are reasonably smooth and straight with a good black paint treatment. Out of the package, one or two of these had some slight separation of the bristles, but not drastic.I was working with acrylic paint and mediums such as glaze medium for work on small surfaces that had been primed and sometimes pre-painted. These were small figures, so the brushes were not being used on canvas or paper, but on more complex dimensional forms. They were quite effective in applying detail as well as washes or glazes.In testing these, I spent a week on various projects. I would clean them between applications with water, or a small dish of Windsor-Newton brush cleaner. I did not provide them with a deeper cleaning with brush soap or other cleaning agents so I could better evaluate how they held up with basic care and maintenance. At the end of the week, I would say that they are still in good working condition - at least for my needs. I have included pictures of their current state so that the more experienced painters out there can make their own assessment.For affordable brushes they work very well and I shall continue to use them.

I got this set for using the wide round style or square brushes for applying gel nail polish when mixing colors or applying top coat over chrome powder and they did not disappoint. These held up well to blending gel polish colors, being dipped into top coat and also being exposed to 100% acetone repeatedly during cleaning. Didn't see any issues with the farrel coming loose or any bristles getting misplaced. The fact you get 50 brushes is a huge value and means I won't be running out of brushes anytime soon. All the brushes are a nice size, comfortable to hold for people with different sized hands and easy to use a they're not slippery or awkward to hold.

I don’t consider myself an artist, but I do a lot of art as a hobby and I have some expensive paint brushes. My children are constantly trying to use my more expensive paint brushes and it makes me a little crazy as I don’t want them ruined. However, the paintbrushes I had for my children primarily consisted of the ones that come with paint sets, and those are usually pretty crummy, hence why they were always going for my brushes. When I came across these brushes I realized this would be the perfect solution and it was. This is truly an incredible value for your money. There are 10 paintbrushes in a set and it comes with 5 sets. Essentially, you’re getting 50 paint brushes for under ten dollars so you really can’t beat that. Each set has a good variety of brushes. I have used these paint brushes with both acrylic paint and watercolor paints and they worked good. I’m giving this item 4 stars because although the paint brushes are decent quality the plastic was rough on one of the handles and I didn’t notice so it ended up scratching me. All in all, I’m glad I ordered these brushes though as now we’re stocked up on paint brushes for the children for the next few years at least. I would recommend them as they really are an amazing value and the extra sets you can just store away until they’re needed.

I ordered these hoping they'd be decent enough. I paint a lot of stepping stones and after a few uses they get torn up so I don't buy expensive brushes. I LOVE these! They exceed decent enough! You get a good variation of brushes. They are quality and have lasted longer than other brush sets I've had. The brushes are soft and wash well, making them easy to re-use. I even allowed my kids to use them and they also had a great experience with them. The brush heads have good tips/points on them and I highly recommend them!

I am a modeler as I build model car kits. These brushes are ideal for the hobby, specifically Model Car Kits builds.I find it easier to throw aways a disposable cheap paint brush, then cleaning it with brush cleaner. Granted, these are not the highest and most expensive "craft or art brushed", but the 50 pack is designed for the classroom at schools, hobbies, crafts and art.$10 for a set of 50 EA is remarkable value! Absolutely love these "throw away" brushed, and they aren't cheaply made!Build quality is exceptional for the price. Fantastic value!Final thoughts...✔️ Remarkable value at $10 for a set of 50 EA.
