At the time of purchase, I didn't see anything on the posting about the drawers being fabric. I despise fabric drawers on furniture, bins are okay but not drawers. As you can imagine my disappointment when I received the desk and it had... Yep, you guessed it; fabric drawers. The drawers are a nice size though. The instructions were easy to follow even by pictures. Took me about 10 minutes by myself to put together so it was done with ease. The desk is lightweight and has adjustable feet should you have uneven floors. Sturdy but wouldn't be able to hold a lot of weight. I literally have my body oils and lotions on it and that's it. I can't use it for a double monitor and my laptop as originally planned. The black color is nice and the size is decent. I'd say for a younger child or a teen that has little space. Functionality, I feel is limited. Not exactly great quality and not worth the fifty dollars they are asking. The value is not here with this item.

This is what it says it is, a small space-conserving desk. The legs and frame are metal which is a plus, they are pretty sturdy and with the powder-coat should be pretty impervious to nicks, and given we live in a somewhat saggy old house I really appreciate the adjustable legs (we had to raise one end a tad higher than the other lol). This was actually for my "mom-den" area for music, for me it was a lovely treat. It fit nicely into a nook that I had surrounded with sound-dampening panels, and it looks quite nice in that nook which I do appreciate. It sits a bit high for computer work (and my Garage Band is on my laptop so...) but I had an office chair that is adjustable and that works great. I did not think I would use the earphone hook but put it on temporarily anyway and yes, it is being used and appreciated (a hook always finds a use in my house lol). The drawers are quite functional for my needs, used for notebooks and music sheets, I store my microphone in one along with guitar picks and tuners etc. Don't put any bricks in them though ;p.As a veteran furniture assembler I found this pretty intuitive (though I get how the instructions could seem a bit much at first, I just dove in). All of the pieces were there (worth mentioning since that’s not always the case, and it's a bummer when a piece is missing!) so I had it together in under an hour while watching a movie (so not completely focused on it). At the present price point (on sale at $49.99) it is a good value, I wouldn't go much higher though. This is not a forever-piece of furniture but with the metal frame should last awhile, as always I will report back if there are any issues. It's nice looking and sturdy enough as a desk for a kid's room or a nook or a she-shed :D. I am quite happy with it!
