I gave it a 3-star because it does work, and it is a good design overall... but they did not take into consideration that the "up" tubing is sturdy and does not bend, and the diameter of the "up" tubing is larger than the holes in the grating that the bird is supposed to stand on. You could remedy this by cutting one of the grates to fit the tubing, but it's not in the design. The pump was strong enough to get the water up, so it does work. Easily comes back apart for cleaning or storing. Good size for African Grey or smaller birds. Only installation is connecting the tubing together.

After 3 failed bath products, this finally worked for my picky bird! The key was starting with barely-there waterfall flow (thanks adjustable valve!), then switching to rain mode once she started mimicking the dripping sounds. Now she does her 'happy bath dance' – wings up, beak chattering! Even my stoic vet said her feather quality improved. Worth every penny for that alone.
