I'm under 6'. 34" waist. Bought a large. The waist band is very expandable so not an issue on waist. The costume leg runs long. If I was thinking about it, I may have also bought a medium and returned the one that didn't fit as well.When you pull the pants on, you will think that the stitch-up part of the leggings are way to narrow. Don't worry. Just lace them up and you will be able to close the two sides pretty easily - it will stretch.The grommets did start to dig into my leg by the end of the day.

The pants are very comfortable and seem like a good hardy material. As for the other reviews saying there was tightness around the shins, with the draw string, I found that the problem goes away if you take the string out and restring them after you put them on. No issues and there is a lot of string left over that can easily be trimmed back.

I bought these for my 14 year old daughter for a Renaissance faire. They're a bit tight around the ankles but fit everywhere else. They have generous sized pockets and a drawstring waist.
