easy to to install .Works great saved over $200.00 on repair bill .This was easy do it yourself item. Make sure to turn power off first. Don't forget to turn power back on if you are a poll or porta gee

The part was fine but placement pins on freezer back panel are plastic spindles. They snap off easily which without the two in place, the actuator unit won’t connect properly 😔

I bought a set of 2 cheaper switches, they last about 6 months. this one here was a lot more money, but the switch seemed more like the oem one. i'll update on longevity.Update: lasted almost a year to the day. Might go with oem. I have 2 of the same fridge, oem switches lasted 8 years. OEM is apparently cheaper here on Amazon.
