Apparently Ford does not manufacture this part any longer; good to know it was the exact fit for the mechanic to install. Excellent quality replacement part for an old Explorer

went from using a screwdriver to open the hood to feeling like a new car! Super easy to install, and works so much better than the almost 30 year old hood latch cable on my 98 explorer v8 5.0
