There is great art on these tiles, I wish there was art on both sides but they really enhance gameplay and provide a wide variety of options.

I own a dozen of these Map Packs, produced over the past five years (older ones are not laminated). I will be buying several more. Paizo's products are superior. I do own two of the Flip Mats, and find those more difficult to work with unless you have a clear Plexiglas/Acrylic covering over them. I prefer these card stock tiles much more as I can CUSTOMIZE the scene for the setting or play space, the flip mats require more table space. These can combine with other sets as well and thus open MANY MORE OPTIONS. Do know that, not being covered they may move during play incidentally. I would gladly take that versus the thicker DnD boxed map tiles as the Map Pack requires much lets to readjust. The ARTWORK easily compares to them, and thus make a better product overall. I use both figures (metal/plastic) and Steve Jackson's Card Board Heroes (with stands) but prefer the latter.

To be honest, I'm not that impressed.I only bought this set so I could actually see what these things look like in the flesh, and this was the cheapest set at the time on Amazon. Not one physical game shop ever stocks these map tiles, and the broken record response is always; "There's no call for them." Meaning the only place it seems these things can be bought, is the internet and the listings only ever show a 2D image of the cover and no images of the actual tiles.Yes, the images are pretty. But I was expecting these 18 tiles to be maybe double sided to make more varied options. And printed on a thicker card stock.Since the majority of these products are priced around the £20+ mark, they're very over priced for what you're actually getting.

Great artwork and appropriate scale. Card stock is a little flimsy, and a few of the scenes seem too specific to be used with much variation.
