Honestly thought this was going to be super light and thin, but it’s actually pretty good material. The zippers are smooth for basic zippers. The mesh is stretchy but tight so it doesn’t sag. And the stitching seems to be okay, worst case cuz super glue the stitching seems, stitch it again, or staple the main spots lol. All in all an absolute steal. And I’ve had for about 2 months now and it’s held up great no signs of breaking. Also it comes with screws to screw it right into pre made screw holes on a Pelican 1650 which is super nice, and has double sided 3M tape on it too!

I put this on the inside of my pelican 1660. It didn’t line up on the holes but that was as to be expected because it is for the 1650 series. The material and zippers are very cheap and the adhesive tape is lackluster. For $60 I would expect a little higher quality. On the upside, it does it’s job and has a good variety of pouches. Lots of room for activities. Overall, it’s an okay product but I wish there was more competition at this price level.

It's holds things. You don't really realize you need it till you have it. Then you need lens wipes and you know exactly where they are. L-wrenches? There. Extra HDMI or SDI cords? There. Color chart? There. A worthy accessory to a powerhouse of a case. Insurance, there. The zippers were great for holding things. Good help is hard to find. This is good help.

Love these configurable inserts/organizers in my Pelican cases. I travel a lot for weeks at a time, and often take my RC cars and helicopters with me. The cases keep things well protected and secured/locked, and the inserts/organizers keep everything neat and in place. All the pockets and cubbies allow me to bring all the tools/spare parts/etc. I might need and to find them easily. With the Velcro on the ends of the dividers, very easy to make/change layout for whatever I need.

Another reviewer got me started in the right direction for installation (with screws), and here is a more detailed procedure that will help you get it right the first time: 1) be sure that you have the predrilled holes available 2) draw on a piece of paper a large capital "H" and rotate it sideways to represent the four corners and two center screwholes of your organizer 3) at the crossbar connecting the two sides of the H (the middle of your organizer), insert a screw into the edge closest to the 1650 hinge (this will allow you to start with some visual clues) 4) install the screw, but do NOT tighten it yet 5) on the other end of the H crossbar, install that screw 5) install the screws at the outside ends of the H (these are the four corners of the organizer) 6) be sure everything is aligned properly by sliding the organizer around (this is why you didn't tighten the screws) 7) tighten, but do NOT overtighten, the screws 8) fill your organizer and relax--you're done.

My wife calls me the Imelda Marcos of camera bags. I have so many cluttering ManLand because I could not find the perfect bag. Then I saw this one in a local camera store. It has everything I need for my sometimes extensive business travel - space for my laptop, work papers, my iPad, and for my camera(s) and lenses. A famous photographer once stated, "I always carry a camera with me. It's hard to shoot photographs without it." That's me - I have a camera with me at all times, even commuting to and from work. This bag makes it easy with the 12 padded sections in the main compartment. I've customized it to be able to carry my Nikon D300s, it's battery pack, three lenses, My filter pouch and step down adapter rings, and a wireless remote shutter release. Now I carry everything in one bag and it is compact enough to fit in the overhead bins on planes. Remember that local camera store I mentioned? They were asking well over $350 for this bag. Glad I waited to shop online - I paid a little over $200 on Amazon. Now I can advertise my Tamracs and National Geographic bags on eBay!!!

Perfect fit for my Pelican 1650. When mounting with the screws provided, secure the two center screws first and then screw down the corners in an 'x' pattern . . . it will be a tight fit and you'll find you may need to angle the screw to get it lined up and started, but it will pull straight and sit perfectly. I really like the options the organizer offers and find the pockets perfectly sized for videography / photography accessories. Well made, appears as though it will last as long as the case.

I'm pretty impressed with this lid organizer, but it did fall a little short of what I was looking for.Pros:- It's built like a tank! The rigid back piece is a 3/32" or 1/8" plastic, and holds its shape very well.- All stitching is reinforced, and done with reasonably thick filament.- The zippers are also sturdy and smooth.- It attaches to the lid with six screws. Coupled with the rigid back piece, the assembly is very sturdy. (It also comes with hook and loop, but I opted for the sturdier option.)Cons:- The pockets are not as deep as I would have liked. Cables like 6' VGA or power cords have to be tightly wrapped to have any chance of fitting.- The pocket layout is a little odd. It seemed like each pocket was either too large or too small, but that may be from the things I am storing in it (I use it to carry a large projector).- The document pocket in the middle and pockets attached (the non-mesh ones) are pretty worthless. There is no way to close or secure them, so things will fall out unless they fit in tightly. If you look at the picture in the description, the items shown would fall out after a short ride.Overall, I am still very pleased and will happily use it for years to come. I took one star from the review simply because of the pocket depth and document pocket comments above. If you are thinking about getting this, I would definitely say it is worth it.
