Beautiful quiet as advertised and good remote. Battery cover on remote major design flaw. Had to take small screw driver and pry outer slit on cover up and out to remove batter cover. Mind messing.

We have this brand in the family room and love it, the lowest setting gives such a nice soft caress and the remote is so convenient. I wanted one like it for my bedroom where the fan does not have a remote. It is quiet running and so convenient to be able to move the breeze onto me or off from bed. The remote does beep loudly but since I am the only one there and usually already awake when operating it, it doesn't bother me. However, it would be better if they had the option with no beep for when others are sleeping.

First, the rotary dial on the remote means you have to hunt around for the speed you want. Looking for 3? it goes to 1 then to 2, then 4. A simple up or down button would work much better.BTW, Pelonis does not offer a replacement remote.Second, when you set a higher speed, after about 5 minutes, it goes back down to the previous speed. So IT decides what speed to work at. (NO AI involved here lol, just a defect somewhere)So, avoid this model for sure, I would avoid Pelonis altogether.While their support did respond quickly, they could not help in any way. At least I got quick, we can do nothing. Well YOU can do something, but something else. They got me, but they don't have to get you.

I bought this fan for the bedroom after getting a similar one for the living room. These DC motor fans are fantastic. They hardly use any energy and they are super quiet on low settings, but still really move air!These babies are pricey, but sometimes go on sale. After not being able to hear my stereo without cranking it to what I call Who concert levels with my other fan (AC motor) I had that did not even move air that well or having to turn up the TV and still hear the fan, I learned about DC motor fans from an audio You Tube channel.I got this fan in white (my other is black). A bonus is that they also look very high-end and are really solid.I no longer have fan noise in the living room when trying to listen to music on warm days/nights and whisper quiet fan noise in the bedroom.These fans are worth every dime.

The fan looks very nice, cute and is strong. My dislike for this fan are pointed below:1- The silent mode operates only in the speed number 1. The noise starts from speed 2 and goes up. From speed 5 to 12, it’s really noisy!!2- This fan model doesn’t reach long distances. It was made for you to place it next to your bed, sofa or in a small room.3- It has many speed selections, but from speed 6 to 12 it just feels the same!4- In oscillating mode, sometimes the fan makes a weird / sleep disturbing noise - I can’t describe it. Also, it was well assembled - looking very sturdy. But even though, the fan looses its balance when oscillating.5- The fan is very expensive for what it really does. It doesn’t deliver a good fan system.Final words:I live in Vancouver, Canada - The summer doesn’t really require a top 10 fan … I turn it on only a few days in a week - for max 2 months. If I was living in a very hot place, I would not chose this fan model.

I got this fan based on reviews around its quietness in late August 2021. Now it is June 2022 and I find that the motor is making a high pitched whine that causes headaches. It rumbles at low speeds and whines at high speeds. I haven’t used this outside of the hot months, so for most of the year it has been unused. For the little I’ve used it so far it’s discouraging that it’s breaking down already, so it doesn’t seem worth the money.Just adding that now that the fan’s engine emits a humming sound simply by being plugged in. Definitely not a quiet fan.

I've had this fan for over a year. So far the fan works great and I've had no issues with it. it's a little noisy on the higher speed settings but overall, the fan has worked as expected. I can feel the fan on the number 3 setting when it's about 15 feet away. I use it mostly to keep air moving in my basement Man Cave where it can get stuffy from time to time. In the summer on hot days, I use it to help the cool air from the AC move to a larger area. The fan is light enough that moving it from room to room if needed is not an issue. This is a good fan for general use.

This is for the 2020 updated model with the circular speed button on the front. This is a really nice and sturdy fan. Easy to assemble and easy to operate. It has 4 modes:Nighttime - 3 speedsNatural - 3 speedsSuper Quiet - 1 speedRegular - 12 speedsNighttime mode is very quiet and is suitable for light sleepers who don't like fan noise.Natural mode is interesting. It waxes and wanes on the speed as the fan oscillates and produces an interesting breeze that varies constantly. It's very relaxing.Super Quiet mode is dead silent. It's very slow, but there's absolutely no noise.Regular mode is your normal fan. Level 12 is strong and produces a good breeze.This is the best fan I've ever purchased. The base is heavy and stylish, the DC motor is energy-efficient and quiet, it oscillates easily, the up-down angle is adjustable, the height of the fan is adjustable between 3.5 and 4.5 feet, and the remote is easy to use. The speed controller is a wheel and it's on both the remote and the fan. It allows you to go to any speed easily in either direction and is well designed in that sense. There's a timer too, but I haven't had to use it yet.

I see some people are complaining that this fan doesn’t produce much airflow when they are setting in on the 3 speed setting. These people are not reading the instructions provided, as this setting is for sleep mode. This fan, when placed on normal settings, not sleep settings, has 12 speed settings. On setting 12, this fan produces a lot of air flow. The quality of the material of the fan is great as well. It’s not cheap plastic. I highly suggest those who purchase this fan to read the instructions as there are quite a few different settings available on this gem. Great value as well, since I got this on a warehouse deal. Very happy with this purchase! It doesn’t disappoint!

Installation: Very easily installed. Did not encounter any problem nor missing pieces.Pedestal: Has weight on it which I think makes it stable.Buttons on fan and on remote: Works as how they are supposed to. Battery is included for the remote as well. Works fine, I like that it has a remote.Fan blow: This is where it is kind of a 1-2 stars. My $25 electric fan at setting 1 is comparable to this electric fan at setting 3.Setting 1 barely blows any air; similar to just someone blowing onto you. Setting 2 was an improvement from setting one but still did not level to the setting 1 of my $25 electric fan.After 1-2 hours of use at setting 2, I was surprised that the blow became similar to setting 1 without anyone changing the setting. I had to readjust it. Even though it was set to 2, the fan blow seemed to set at 1 after several minutes of use which is annoying. My $25 fan does not do this. This has been going on for hours now and I do not know why.I am not sure now if it is broken or it is really like that. I will test it out few more days and if it is not "fixed" (blow steady air at the chosen setting), I have no choice but to return it.Also, it will be really a pain to have to return this as it is quite heavy.After few nights of trying the electric fan, now it started to make some weird noises. I am not sure where it is coming from. It is a bit annoying honestly especially at night.

I LOVE our new Pelonis fans (we bought two)! I'm in a wheelchair so I was very worried when the boxes were delivered because they were so heavy. I had to push them up into my house with my feet so it took quite awhile. But once I opened everything up, the fans were very easy to assemble so if I can do it, ANYONE can! The directions were very easy to follow and each fan took me about 15-20 minutes to assemble. The air flow is fantastic! I put one in our master bedroom and one in our family room and I was pleasantly surprised at the tremendous difference they made in cooling off both rooms, which are quite large. I decided to spend the extra money to invest in these because of the great reviews they had and I was not disappointed! I highly recommend this Pelonis fan to anyone needing a workhorse of a fan but one that is efficient, sleek and stylish, quiet with variable speeds, the convenience of a remote and light and portable, this is the fan for you!
