Despite the negative and dated reviews, this is Dec.2019 and I decided to give it a try anyway and especially that is a prime item I figured I can’t go wrong! And I am happy to say I Didn’t go wrong! These are first of all durable probably most durable then most standard Manila folders, the most amazing files I used for the last 25 years of my office work life and let me tell you I used a great variety of them, kind used them all! As a small owner these files are the most practical and perfect for reuse because the tabs are laminated somehow if such perfect quality that you can write with permanent markers on it and it dries right away BUT if you let’s say change your mind about the title of the tab then you can erase it with regular rubbing alcohol and reuse your folders a million times over! To me that is so awesome and a time and money saver! Because recently I had to throw away so many Manila folders like by thousands, just because it did not had this erasable reusable option! I absolutely recommend this awesome versatile Manila folders to any smart person- it’s so practical along with money and tree saving option! And actually the bending tabs is another feature that I love so much, first of all it keeps your files a little more apart so you can see easily and second of all it gives you the versatility of order in tabs because many times you cannot use the same format of tabs and this fixes this problem, besides bending them it takes 1second.

I like these folders. The reviewers who said it increased their work confuse me. Just fold the tab into the slots. Really not very difficult, put the folders in the draw and arrange the tabs as needed.

I got these for household files, and I'll never use all of them, but for the price they're perfect. The tabs are nice in that you can turn down the ones you don't want to use, so if you want more on one side you don't have to buy separate packages.

I like that I can take any of these files and turn it into a third cut of my choice. It takes a little more time, but I like them anyway.

Somewhat quirky file folders, since they have three tabs, two of which need to be folded down, which makes them a bit not so clean looking. But now I will never run out of the right tab version! Tabs have film on them for greater durability. I can recommend this product.

One thing I didn't realize until I received this item was that it had several tabs on each folder so that you can fold down the ones you don't want and just leave up the one you do want. Personally I wouldn't have chosen this option for my purposes as the other tabs folded down aren't exactly pretty and I think they make the folder bulky

This product is really poorly designed and deceptively described. As others mentioned, the folder quality is flimsy and thin. Rather than the traditional 1-tab per folder, you get all three tabs on every folder and the expectation is to fold down the ones you don't use. I just ended up cutting them since the tabs didn't stay folded and it made my folders buckle.It's truly a ridiculous design, and while I should have read the fine print better to better understand what I was getting, the truth is that this is a deceptive product. Who would think that they are sending you file folders with ALL THREE tabs? None of the people who reviewed so far expected that so clearly it's a misleading product description. And the product photo is too washed out to really show you what you are getting.Do NOT buy this product unless you are looking for a file folder with three separated tabs.

I guess Pendaflex implies it's flexible. However I didn't realize that I would have to bend tabs down, fit them into much too small slits and on 50% tear the folder while doing so in order to get the the 1/3 cut file folder advertised. Flimsy thickness. If I had not already thrown away the packaging I'd return the product.Pity, it's such a common product, however this is easily the worst purchase I made in the last 2 years.
