I am a bow hunter. The fall of 2023 i hunted with no success, even though i was able to have a few great memories. During the early November time frame just before the seasons of hunting changed. I was lucky enough to get a Buck with mu truck. To my amazement it did no damage to my truck. It just clipped the deers back bottem legs. In comes the local P.D. The officer was young and not a hunter. He had never had to put and animal down before and after we talked, I gave him a few tips on placement of the bullet and I was able to harvest a nice freezer full of meat.I made a Beautiful deer antler pen with the police pen. I looked him up and gave him the pen and a nice wooden/burnt protect and serve flag. He appreciated it alot and now has a pen to carry with him that has the antler of the buck and a reminder of his morning with me. Thank you.
