I am always happy with the quality of the products I receive from Penn State. My son picked this blank out and I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful it turned out.

This blank was great. It is my first attempt turning acrylic. My suggestion is to go slower than you would with wood, make sure your tools are sharp, and have fun. The one thing that surprised me (as you can see in the picture), is that the brass insert shows through some of the ‘clearer’ parts of the acrylic. In case you’re curious about the picture, i sanded down to 3000 grit, then polished with car polish. Turned out like glass and works great.
