High magnification zoom
This 7.5x high magnification zoom lens is mounted on Pentax APS-C size SLR cameras with a 35mm format that corresponds to a 27.5mm wide angle to a 207mm telephoto length. Covers a wide range of general photography, from scenery and snaps, to portrait portraits to sporting events. In addition, the latest optical design combines high magnification and small weight reduction to improve user-friendliness and mobility.
Simple splash-proof construction.
The lens has a simple splash proof structure that prevents water from entering the lens. Combined with our Splashproof DSLRs for durability and reliability in rain, fog, and splashing areas.
Smooth autofocus with in-lens motor
Equipped with a DC motor for autofocus (AF) within the lens for smooth AF action note 1. It also features a non-rotating mechanism that prevents the focusing ring from spinning during the AF, allowing you to hold the lens in the same position as manual focus.
High Performance
1 ED(Special Low Dispersion) glass in the optics and 1 Aspherical (AL) lens for hybrid and glass molds. It corrects aberrations to improve the drawing performance and contributes to the smaller body size.
Round aperture for beautiful bokeh taste
It uses a circular aperture that reduces the glare when shooting a point light source, and achieves a more natural and beautiful bokeh taste.

人によって評価が変わる中、逆光に対する強さが共通評価のようなこのレンズ。個体差なのか、製造時期の関係かは分かりませんが、自分の所に来た子は逆光耐性はもちろん、広角から望遠まで、全域で満足できる写りをしてくれてます。唯一の欠点は周辺減光ですが、これは倍率とサイズを考えれば仕方ないと割り切れます。これまたよく言及されてる感がある、手前にあるフォーカスリングは望遠時に特に有効で、リングを回した際の視界の揺れが小さく操作しやすいです。写りもよくて簡易防滴、操作もしやすく逆光にも強いと、このレンズが気に入りすぎて、よほどでもない限り「コイツで撮れないなら交換してまで撮らなくてもいいや」みたいになってます。

状態はまぁまぁ。普通に使えます。それより、カメラレンズの発送方法どうにかならんのですかね…プチプチに包んで、ダンボール封筒に入れて送るのは怖すぎます。amazonで２回中古レンズを購入していますが、２回ともコレ。他の商品は過剰なほどの梱包材と箱のサイズも大きかったりするのに、レンズだけ簡易的過ぎやしないか？と思っています。防湿庫に入って保管していると商品説明に書かれていたのですが、amazon倉庫には防湿庫はあるのか？どんな管理をしているのかも知りたいと思ったこの頃です。。
