I own a 2000 Chevy Express Van with a 24 foot motorhome built on that frame. It has a 454 Chevy Vortec engine that uses hydro-boost brakes that work off of the power steering pump for the brake booster. I hoped these brakes would help it stop better. The pedal on the vehicle takes a lot of leg power to stop it. I think it just has undersized brakes. I did not notice a big improvement after installing these pads. I guess now i will take it to a repair shop and have the rear brakes checked out. The hydroboost and power steering seem to work properly, I suspect this vehicle just had lousy brakes to begin with.
