The socket is of good construction, but getting it sepatrated from it's packaging/holder is tricky. You will have to identify (I used a huge magnifying glass) and cut the tabs on two sides where it says "cut" in tiny letters. Then rotate the top tab 90 degrees, which releases the lock and allows you to remove it. I used a small zip tie cutter, a side cutter would work. Do not use a knife as you will be setting yourself up for a nasty cut as one of the reviewers noted.

Nice Allen driver, precision with durability but if you need the ultimate get yourself impact allens if your using a lot of torque
