Worth every penny even if you only use it once. I installed the AC belt on vehicle in less than 5 min with this. It literally snapped right in place. Just be sure to have a long handled ratchet to turn the crankshaft since it hits considerable resistance before going over the hump. i was not experienced in stretch belts and had struggled on my previous attempt lacking this tool and shredded the belt and my knuckles in the process. The tool takes away all the trouble I had getting the belt started on the crankshaft and and trying not to tear it on the outer rim as it goes on. There is a Youtube video someone posted on this very car and shows exactly how to use it which was also very helpful so check that out.

It worked good once we figured out that the bolt only steadies the upper part with the grove which fits over the pully lip, it does not hold it firmly. I had to shorten the shortest bolt so it would fit against the pulley of a 2012 ford F150. Those stretch belts take a lot of torquing when you turn the belt on over the tool. It did the job very well.

Used this for a 2010 Mazda 3i, worked on third attempt, granted I’ve never done a stretch belt replacement, but with some patience, it worked out fine. Bought used since I knew it was probably not going to be needed again for years.

Works good. Cheaper than buying multiple tools.

For the ac stretch belt install of a new Goodyear stretch belt, after alternator and serpentine belt replacement, this did the job. 2010 Mazda 3i touring sedan, 2.0L, manual trans. 158,947 miles. But it was not super-confident. You had to keep working the tool around and cranking the crankshaft pulley clockwise. It got it up there fast on the 2 pulleys( ac compressor and crankshaft), but left a few ribs of the belt out over the shoulder of both pulleys. It's a bit of an art. It's bull work. I had to keep rotating several times and I think I devised some assisting tool to press in on the thin "knife-edge" dimension of the belt in the middle between the pulleys to coax it on while turning and turning. You're kind of stuck because you can't press the last rib or two fully on, and how do you get the belt off to redo?Instructions are so so.I think for certain cars and applications it's a so so tool. It got bent a little and beat up.It did ultimately do the job.I'd try the Lisle deinstall/install stretch belt tool set next time.

I purchased this tool because it works on a lot of different vehicles and pulley sizes.I only used it once so far.It took a little work to get it on, but worked great once I had it set up.Take a little effort to turn but it does its job.

I got my serpentine belt on my 2008 Mazda 5 fairly easily. But the AC stretch belt was a beast. I was hoping this tool would work and it did. I bought the green 3 bolt version for max flexibility. It took just afew minutes to set the tool and belt in position. Started turning the crank and I could feel it catch. It required a good bit of strength but I just kept going slowly around and in one full turn it slipped into place. I did have to turn the crank another round or so to get the belt precisely into the grooves but I am a happy camper. Great tool to have. It's a keeper!
