I received these strings and immediately put the treble strings on my guitar. I loved them; they played and sounded great: loud, clear, staying in tune. Several days later I installed the d string, and as I got it up to tune, the string broke. I sent an email to Aquila, and they didn't respond. So I have a dilemma: there are lots of good strings available, but these trebles are as good as I've ever used, but I'm dubious about the bass strings. I'm especially disappointed that Aquila didn't respond to my concern. They could do better.

These strings have a really splendid, warm, sound particularly for a classical Spanish guitar. Smooth and confortable contact with fingers, the intonation is very stable and the 3 first strings are made from byonylon, an eco-product based on plants (67 per cent). Silver plate coated bass strings have a luxurious sound, not too bright, with the right power. A real presence. Perfect for my old Spanish Julia Esteve guitar. This is really an impressive progress made by the exceptional italian company Aquila. Well done!

どこもかしこも上品な印象。パッケージ。見た目。そして音色も。試してみる価値のある弦だと思います。気温や湿度に影響を受けず、かなりのロングライフも期待できそう。

I love these strings but I notice that the treble strings are translucent now, instead of that beautiful ivory color of the previous style.
