My wife loves to spend time with the grandchildren in the kitchen. Everyone puts on and apron and white chef's cap. I thought this would look good on her as she takes charge of all the mini chefs.The material is very nice. Similar to a good cloth napkin. The headband has an elastic strip which allows the hat to fit multiple head sizes and stay put. I tossed it into the wash then dryer and didn't see any fading or other problems as a result. I was unsure about the color until it arrived. I actually love this thing. The quality of the construction is great, the fit is perfect for even my huge head, and the price for it? how could you go wrong? Even if it's more for fun than anything, this hat is great value.

I ordered this chef's hat for my teen daughter, who has recently become infatuated with making the perfect Macaroons. Most of the small appliances and storage containers in our kitchen are red, so this chef's hat fits right in! This hat is a much better quality than others we've had in the past and it fits my daughter very nicely. Overall, we are very happy with this hat and she was very excited when I gave it to her.

Nice hat for a chef in the house. Good color. The only thing I did not like was the stretch rubber that is white in color that shows against the red color. It would have been nicer if it was the same color to blend in.

I put on my burgundy toque and black apron and commence cooking for them. I don't think that asking to be addressed as "Chef" is too much to ask if I'm preparing them one of my signature dishes.Sounds like I have a big head but this toque fits me well. Nice fabric. Don't look for me on your favorite cooking channel. I only cook for a select few.This toque can also be worn if you are just opening a can of beef ravioli to heat in the microwave. No one will report you to Le Cordon Bleu.

To be fair, I am not a chef, we just got this to wear for play while the kids help in the kitchen. The fabric is soft, fits fine on an average sized head and wasn't too tight for wearing while cooking and didn't slip down. The elastic in the back is white however, not color matched as pictured in the listing. This isn't a big deal for play but might be more important if this is a uniform.

My girlfriend does a lot of cooking. Now she can look like a real chef in the kitchen. The hat has elastic on back for a snug fit. Will fit most any adult. Much better than a plain white chef hat. This is a deep red which looks sharp. Love the color.
