I got this kit as a project for a gift. I modified it a little bit with a gold satin thread for details on the train and the HP, and I used some cotton Halloween fabric on the back. But this kit was perfect. It came with all of the thread, a needle, and extra canvas to add to the back. The instructions were great, though I’m very familiar with cross stitch already. It does have QR codes to scan for help, plus there are a ton of tutorials on YouTube if you get stuck.I used two strands of floss for the stitches and did not run out of thread.I would 100% buy more of these kits!

This kit was perfect! It came with everything needed and the instructions were so easy to follow. This was my second cross stitch project and this one was so impressive. I still need to wash and iron it before it’s complete but it’s the perfect bookmark to keep in my Harry Potter books.

I received this kit as a gift, but I will certainly be buying more in the future! I loved the design, the shipping was super fast (a day if that) the instructions were clear and it had a QR code to scan that took you to videos on how to cross stitch and finish your bookmark. I was very impressed by this product and definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to get into cross stitch or just wants an easy stitch. I used fabric from my stash and finished with Heat and Bond.

This kit was easy to follow and came with plenty of thread. I'm not an expert, but I'm also not a beginner at cross stitch, and I found it to be a fun, relatively quick to make gift. The design was really nice, and any Harry Potter fan will enjoy it.

This is a full bookmark kit for cross stitch.Cons:*floss is thin and tangles and knots easily - it’s not a name brand*instructions don’t tell you how to end the floss as you’re whip stitching the border and your thread gets short, but you’re not finished with the border - it was awkwardPros:*fantastic, fun, and simple pattern for beginners - I’m planning on using this and some of the other bookmark patterns from this company to teach new stitchers in my club how to stitch*pattern is clear and in color*floss was easy to separate and you can match the color numbers on the chart with a numbered floss keeper*there are instructions with photos if you’re just learning how to stitch*there is a QR code that links to the designer’s website, where you can find how-to videos for stitching and for putting together the bookmark*the Aida fabric is precut into the two pieces you need, so prep work is minimalThe first photo on my review is the pattern cover, and the second is part of the instructions so you can see how they’re laid out. The third photo on my review is my finished piece. I don’t finish my bookmarks this way and I didn’t follow her video, so I did mine similar to hers, but it’s not exact. Not my best stitching on the border, but she’s not to blame for that because, again, I didn’t follow the video. :-)The reason I gave four stars instead of five is because of the floss quality. It’s one of our “tools of the trade,” so it needs to be better. But it’s good enough if someone is wanting to learn how to cross stitch. The kit is a good deal for the money.

This is a great cross-stitch kit for anyone, whether you are a beginner or have been stitching for a while! The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The thread colors are bright and beautiful! Everything you need is included in this kit (needle, floss, fabric, instructions). And there are so many great patterns to choose from! This is a fun project, and I highly recommend this kit!

A fantastic find! I ordered this kit to stitch a bookmark for my grandson for Christmas. The number of patterns to choose from is incredible! The kit included 16 count cotton fabric and peri cotton floss, a needle, and full instructions. The fabric is just stiff enough to allow for stitching in hand, which I have never tried before. The quality of the fabric and floss is excellent! I am highly impressed!
