I took them on a weeklong trip, mostly hiking in Utah. They were very comfortable and lightweight and I really liked the transition feature, which worked quite well. I took a video of them transitioning; however, the video didn't capture this capability very well (my bad). They include a cloth pouch to hold the glasses, a cleaning cloth, a strap (so when you remove the glasses, they can hang around your neck) and some myopia frames (not sure I will use them, but might help for some people). I like the way they wrap around your eyes to block sunlight / UV from the sides. Overall, they seem fine so far. Due to their wrap around capability, they take a bit more space in your luggage (when travelling) and I put them in a shoe to protect them during my travels.

Alright so for under $25 dollars you need to set some expectations right out the gate, these are decent glasses that will fit the bill for the casual rider and that's who this review is geared towards. So, let's get into this with the build quality first. You already know, given the price, that you're dealing with mid-tier plastic glasses. They feel fairly sturdy and have some flex but they feel and look cheap, just something about this kind of plastic. In terms of comfort I would say they are right in the middle but of course this will change depending on the structure of your head. For the 5 hours I wore them it was decent but towards the end my nose and temples were starting to feel some discomfort. Now for the photochromic lens, in terms of clarity they are not too bad, they do get some glare when light is behind you and some halos at night because they are pretty basic polycarbonate lenses. In regard to the photochromic feature it does work but some expectations must be set, first off, its not instant and it takes some time and second no matter how long these cooks in the sunshine they are never going to get as dark as sunglasses, I would say they get about 50% as dark as regular sunglasses. These are great for more overcast days but on a clear day I'm pulling out my regular riding sunglasses instead of these. So bottom line for what you are paying you are getting decent value, if you think this will be your all conditions glasses think again, in bright sun on a clear day these will not cut it but for night and overcast to partly sunny days these are just fine.

These are my first polarized sunglasses and the vision is crisp. Great coverage for what I was looking for with cycling in my neighborhood when it’s windy or sunny.

The lens is fine but the frame is too big and not comfortable. Especially, the lower eye part of the frame. Could be good for wearing these glasses while playing sports.
