These are not cracked ice pieces not premium stained glass.... simply dyed broken windshield pieces... I couldn't tell you if they are easy break as mine were completely crumbled into tiny pieces when I received them. Will admit in kinda bummed... if they were packaged better and could've been broken into different size pieces I wouldn't even complain about the cleverness of recycling windshields. But I found maybe 5 pieces that I could barely manage to foil tape for a stained glass project, so they definitely aren't good for that.... plus if it is going to be used on a door or window where you can enjoy the light coming through, the fact they crumble so easy wouldn't be good. The glass is definitely pretty but not usable for stained glass pieces unless they are smaller ones that will be hung up where they never get even slightly bumped. Great idea but maybe go a different avenue. If they were used with grout then sealed they would be beautiful for a table or even a floor... maybe layering cardboard between pieces will help with stability.

The bag arrived with tiny pieces of glass, nothing like the picture. I gave it two stars because it was glass and the glass was colored, unlike the "mosaic printed glass" which was a glass dot with a printed sticker on it.
