Plastic Japanese Shinobue Flute

Plastic Japanese Shinobue Flute 7 Hon

This Japanese Shinobue Flute is made of plastic, not easy cracked as bamboo flute, but easy play as bamboo flute. Also come with mouthpiece, which can help beginer to lean how to blow the flute.

Made of lightweight plastic, this flute is incredibly portable and easy to handle.

Fingering chart included.

The soft bag that comes with it, which is spacious enough to hold the flute whether it's assembled or in two sections. Overall, this is a basic but effective flute that’s durable enough to with stand regular practice sessions.

It is in the key of B and plays well in Abm.

I have been practicing shinobue with other products and did not have a problem making sound. This one is hard to play especially high notes.

I've bought a few different shinobue and this one is my favourite as it is very easy to get the lower octave and plays fairly well in the upper octave. It is in the key of B and plays well in Abm. It is well made and looks good too.

I love learning new instruments, and this Plastic Black Japanese Shinobue Flute is a wonderful addition to my collection. Though it’s going to take time to master, I work from home, so I’m able to dedicate the necessary practice time.Made of lightweight plastic, this flute is incredibly portable and easy to handle. The included fingering chart is very helpful, and I've been using YouTube tutorials to learn how to hold and play it correctly.I also appreciate the soft bag that comes with it, which is spacious enough to hold the flute whether it's assembled or in two sections. Overall, this is a basic but effective flute that’s durable enough to withstand regular practice sessions. Highly recommended for anyone interested in exploring traditional Japanese music!

I ordered this flute on a whim and now I’m not sure I’m going to spend time learning how to play it. I did play a wind instrument for many years, but not a flute so it’s harder to play than I had hoped. Fortunately there is a chart that shows finger positions and the notes that these positions produce but no songs are included. This probably would appeal more to someone who already knows how to play a flute or a school-aged child who is thinking about learning to play a flute. It would provide a less expensive way to try it out.

This sounds and plays sort of like Bansuri which is relevant in the east. What I like about this flute is it can be split and kept in a backpack easily, and can be joined again to play while roaming. I am not an experienced flute player at all, so I do not understand how exatly the sound produced by this flue is in comparision to other ones out there, but as of now, for someone who is a beginner, this flute looks good, easier to carry and sounds good.

I love flutes. The sound, the look, it's all great. And I have a few, mostly bamboo. But I wanted one that was something I would feel more comfortable taking with me when I go for bike rides and stuff. This one fills that bill nicely. It's made of plastic, so I don't feel so bad when I take it out. It's also very light-weight and portable. Despite being plastic, it has a nice, clear sound. It's a shinobue, which is a transverse flute, and might require some learning, but it's a good starter flute. It has a high pitch, but not shrill. It comes with a fingering chart, which is great. There are lots of videos on YouTube about how to hold and play a shinobue. It also comes with a soft bag that's big enough to hold it whether it's assembled or not.

This flute plays, but not very well. It's cheap plastic and that's essentially it. Maybe a good flute to gauge interest in a beginner, but not for much else.

I perform in a local orchestra on occasion, and have recently begun considering taking up woodwinds. I got this flute so I had more of a variety to experiment with. I confess that this is my first transverse wind instrument, and I acknowledge that my inexperience may influence my review – but so far, learning has been proving a challenging but rewarding endeavor! The flute itself, despite it being plastic, has a nice heft to it, and it feels reasonably sturdy. It comes with a bag and a fingering chart, handy for beginners. Getting a strong clear tone is a bit difficult, but when I find the pocket, it has a nice richness, almost sweetness, to it. There are definitely better-quality instruments out there, but it does get the job done. All in all, a good starter flute with a nice traditional sound. I am going to continue practicing and update this review if I have anything to add.

the sound of this is really nice, it does feel a little ...iffy when you put it together, like it will damage itself over time when you take it apart and put it back together.
