Invest in either of these expanding file folders if you are in a rush to organize your papers! Its reliable use and straightforward approach earns it 4 stars. Love these for organizing my work in retirement: co-op startup, beekeeping logs, local and regional bee club meetings, wellness , travel documents....The possibilities are endless. They are sturdy, transparent and hold a reasonable number of file folders or loose pages. The closures are secure and the envelopes are reinforced to minimize the possibility of early wear. These are great!

This set of 6 pieces expanding file holders are made of clear, easy grip, diagonally textured, medium flexible, sturdy, plastic and nicely finished with stitched fabric binding. Overall the size is about 10"h x 13"w x 2.5"d. There are no sharp edges. The gusset or expansion bottom and sides are about 2.5" deep, made of a thin slick fabric that makes them easy to expand or collapse. The snap is plastic and seems to work well. There is a small front label pocket with removable write on card for labeling contents or project. They will stand on their own or with contents inside and, can be shelved in a bookshelf, in process order of the projects or paperwork which, I love. I can put a craft book and supplies in one, put it into a bag, protecting my project for easy transport.

I love this style of folder, these are even better because the corners are reinforced with a canvas like fabric. And the first picture that’s on the ad. They look very tall and skinny, they’re not they’ll fit a full size sheet of paper lengthways on the horizontal. Not sure why that picture is skewed. I use this for storing important documents. I use it for sorting documents at work. I use them inside my briefcase to sort other things out. I just love them. They Velcro closed, You have a little card. You can put exactly what they are. It’s good for in the filing cabinet keeping forms that maybe you don’t want prying eyes to see, so not in a regular hanging file. Oh yeah, and their waterproof and about three dollars each. So I think it’s a great item.

I was looking for an easy way to store our yearly tax paperwork that doesn't take up much space. This "Plastic Expanding File Folder" is perfect for my needs. Everything fits inside, including an 8.5" x 11.75" legal pad.I plan to use the other five folders in this package to organize wills, health directives, life insurance policies, and real estate documents. You just put everything in a clear folder, snap it shut, and write what's inside on the included label card. It's a simple way to keep critical documents organized without having to buy a large filing cabinet.

I really like these expanding storage folders. The bulk of the folder is a medium weight plastic that is sturdy enough for the job. The gusset area is cloth and is sewn to the plastic area via a cloth binding tape. This makes this design more practical than the expanding folders that are solid plastic. Having the cloth in the expanding areas gives plenty of flexibility and makes it resistant to cracking and tearing failures in those parts.Another thing that I like is that when they are folded flat for storing just one or two papers, the cloth fold area does not take up much space and you actually do get a nice flat compact folder. Then when you keep adding stuff into it, it expands nicely and can hold a whole lot of papers. I’m using these to organize a lot of my looseleaf sketchbook pages and single page drawings and they are perfect for the job. I would definitely consider buying more of them if I need additional storage file space.
