These racks are nice and solid and I like that there is a cross piece in the middle to give added support. They all can attach to each other to make a grid. You can do one long line, a square/rectangle, or combination. The only way they don't connect is the large side to the other large side. So if you're using them standing upright, the only way you can connect them is in a long skinny line. Though they do nest together well, so you could just stand them up next to each other. It's nice that they come in different colors, it makes it easy to quickly have different categories if you're taking different samples and don't want to put a label on each.

I have only one complaint, and it's minor; they are easy to tip if set up on the narrow edge. Since that's how I need to use them, I tied two of them together, side by side, with a couple of twist ties. That makes the setup much more stable.Other than that, they are very cleanly built with no excess plastic dangling. The tubes that I have work very well and they are very stable.Update:I've been using these things for a few days, and I've got a somewhat major complaint. I tried some different tubes with round bottom tubes (like most) and they barely stick out the top. Because of this, they can slip and tip, especially on the outside edges. Most racks have two sets of holes for a test tube to give it stability. The design of these only provides one. To fix this, I put some cardboard between the tubes and covered the ends.At some point, I'll be getting a better rack, but for now, this will work. I think these racks are likely best used in the field where you may need to support multiple sizes.

These test tube holders work great for 10 ml vacutainer and 1.3 ml screw top blood tubes. There is not a good size hole for the 3 ml vacutainer tubes. They fall through the 10 ml holes and are likely to fall out the bottom if rack is lifted. I do like that the holes are numbered, and it is a sturdy, colorful product that arrived quickly. I'm using this in a veterinary setting.

I was looking for a convenient, inexpensive way to store my brushes between daily painting sessions and when I saw these lab tube stands I knew I was on to something. I paint in oils so rather than ruining my brushes by cleaning them with harsh chemicals or detergents after I use them each day, I wipe them, then dip them in linseed or walnut oil. The easiest, least-messy way I discovered to store the oil-laden brushes is in “bud tubes,” you know, the little tubes that florists use for a single rose (see the photos I uploaded here.) The tubes have a silicone lid with a stem-sized (brush-sized) hole in it so I slide the lid onto the brush handle and put the brush end into the tube. It sits in there perfectly without touching the bottom of the tube, so the bristles stay protected and in their proper shape while being stored for a few days. With these tube holders I just slide the tube into one of the slots in one of these racks. The racks are each a different color so it’s easy to organize my brushes by size or type using the colors. I also discovered that I can use one of the sides with smaller holes for dry, clean brushes. I just flip the brush bristles up and slide the handle into one of the small slots making sure in also goes into the slot on the bottom. The brushes stay upright and separated. This is particularly good for the fan brushes. When I store all my brushes bunched together in a pencil cup the fan brushes always get squished and deformed. Brushes are so expensive anymore that I do everything I can to keep them in good condition for as long as possible. I’m so glad I discovered these tube racks… I need to spread the word among painters, especially oil painters. These things are great and so functional. They’re also much less expensive than purpose-built brush storage.

These are some nicely made and solid racks with lots of options as far as tube size. You get a good selection of colors as well as a good number of racks decently cheap. They are easy to clean if you do end up getting them dirty as they are not porous.

These work perfectly, just like the expensive ones from science vendors. Shipped quickly and arrived very fast, too.

These test tube racks seem pretty standard, I haven't had any issues with them. The connect together in different ways which is great if you have multiple tube sizes. Not really much else to say about them. I'd recommend them if you are looking for some plastic test tube racks.

These are a common style of plastic racks that fit 4 common size tubes used in most biology labs: 50 ml centrifuge tubes, 15 ml centrifuge tubes, 1.5 ml microfuge tubes, and 0.5 ml microfuge tubes. They will also hold 14 ml round-bottom culture tubes for bacterial culture and 5 ml round-bottom tubes commonly used for flow cytometry. They also have interlocking tabs so you can link them up with each other, although I rarely see anyone doing this. The plastic is of good quality and the colors are nice and bright. Importantly, the price is also right.
