I used to play (before Covid) on an indoor hockey rink covered with plastic sport court (like) tiles. I'm 6'2" and about 185 lbs. I find that 74A and 76A hardness wheels are too slow for my weight. I find that 78A hardness are ideal for me on the plastic tiles, providing the best balance of stickiness and speed. This Hi Lo set is a fantastic value (80mm and 72mm) and even comes with bearings. Can't go wrong. Good durability. Good luck!

We bought the wheels to repair vintage Travelpro luggage. We were able to replace the wheels easily and used the luggage with smooth and trouble free wheels! Much cheaper and better for the earth to fix and avoid the dump!!

I called the company and they stated that these wheels are 78A on the hardness scale which means that they are not indoor wheels and should be classified as Multi-Surface wheels. I will say that these wheels have held up great with my child on a cement rink surface for over a year now without any issues (of course you have to rotate them frequently to keep them in good shape). I would not recommend these wheels for indoor surfaces, as they are too hard and do not give the maneuverability that you would expect on softer surfaces. For indoor use, it is recommended to go with a 72A - 76A hardness rating for maximum grip.A word of caution for those just learning about wheels: Using indoor wheels (72A-76A), multi-surface wheels (78A) or outdoor wheels (80A-84A) outside on an abrasive surface such as cement or asphalt, will automatically turn them into outdoor wheels! Meaning, you will destroy indoor wheels if you use them outside!!! If you are purchasing these for kids, you must remind them that if they use these to play outside, they will lose their grip that they need for indoor play forever! The abrasion resulting from the harder surface will cause the wheels to lose all of their stickiness and grip, causing a loss of performance during indoor play.It is a hassle to be switching your wheels all the time if you skate both indoor and outdoor frequently. I have found that the best solution is to buy two pairs of skates along with two sets of bearings and wheels. Use one pair exclusively for indoor play with very soft wheels, and the other pair for outdoor use. If you don't believe me, just try using your outdoor wheels on an indoor surface and you will know that what I'm saying is the truth! In conclusion: These wheels and bearings are a great choice for your outdoor pair of skates. They are hard enough to hold up to the harsh surface while at the same time giving you great grip. The ABEC 9 bearings are the only way to go for maximum speed. I have to say that these wheels and bearings are a great value; however, I just wish that they would reclassify them as "Multi-surface" wheels.

I'm on my second set of these wheels now. I've never had any problems with them, and they've lasted a long time. Bearing work well too. Not sure who makes them tho, as there's no writing on the wheels. If your looking for this size wheel for indoor skating you should try these out.
