This tool makes angle stop removal and installation easier even on tight spaces. No need to have a position where the a regular cresent or wrench requires to line up with the angle stop grooves. Must have for plumber and DIY people like me.

This is just another tool in the box. I end up removing a lor of supply lines and sometimes even water supply valves when renovating and restoring kitchen cabinets. This is a nice little tool to hold the supply valve in and not gnarly up any surfaces when removing things.they do not fit all sizes, but for the most common sizes I run into under kitchen sinks it does the job. the locking mechanism is also a decent little fidget thing to slap open and closed. I find myself doing that while thinking about ways to approach a disassembly before a restoration job.

I purchased this for some DIY projects and I can’t believe that I ever lived without this. I love how versatile and strong it is! This would make great gift for the people who have everything!

I bought this for compression straight stops thinking that I could thread the separate rod into 3/8” supply. The threads aren’t for 3/8” so not useful for most applications. I wish the description was more specific

The main star of this is the wrench, which has a 5/8 end that's sized for 3/8" compression nuts and 15/16 that's sized for 1/2" compression nuts. Both are common sizes for angle stop valves, though other sizes and needs exist. 1/2" NPT hose? You'll need a different wrench or pliers for that. Something to hold the valve while the nut is loosened? You'll need a different wrench or pliers for that.Beyond those aspects, being able to "ratchet" the loosening or tightening in what is often a cramped space beneath a sink is indispensable. No more having to flip a standard open end multiple times due to the lack of swing space -- this is much more convenient. Just know that there will be times in which one must hold down the lever to keep the wrench in place. The length is a plus too -- it's not too long, which is great in the tight spots, but still sufficiently long for lower effort. Its length also minimizes the chances of insanely overtightening a hose or compression nut versus if one were to use a typical 15/16 open end wrench. Overall, it's great as a supplemental plumbing tool and one that earns its keep. 5 stars.

This one is an okay tool, the issue I have is that the spring that retracts the jaw of the larger opening is pretty weak. Over a week of use it lost its dexterity to keep the jaw closed on its own. The shaft has sharp corners and feels a little uncomfortable. It works with some finesse

I recently saw a plumbing short and the guy was using one of these. I did not know they existed. He was using a really nice chromed one that was over $50 when I looked it up. This one quite a bit cheaper. Maybe not as nice but totally functional. It seems compression fittings are always tedious to work on in poor access areas under the sink, behind a toilet, or in a crawl space. This wrench effortlessly latches on and ratchets the nut without damaging it. Great addition to the plumbing kit.

What is great about this is that the wrench is adjustable to the size of nut that fits in its jaws. It is so much easier to use this compared to a regular adjustable wrench when you are on your back underneath a sink in the small opening of a vanity. The Angle Stop tool is good for tightening compression stops and as a lever for securing them. This is one of those things that should have been around decades ago and once you have this you will ask yourself why you did not get this sooner. The rivets on the wrench appear to be quite solid and this does seem like it will last. I think the price is very reasonable for what you get.
