No screw tab to anchor it down so I just siliconed them to the old capacitors :-;Seems a little weak for these desktop fans. I wish I had gone up to 3.5uF instead of the 2.5uF I boughtI was surprised that one fan had a 2,5uF cap and the other fan with the smaller blades has a 3.5uF cap in it

My ceiling fan was gradually starting to run more and more slowly, and noisy, especially on the low speed. I replaced the capacitor over 3 years ago with this Podoy CBB61. The fan is on our back deck, so it gets major temperature/humidity extremes. Now after 3 years in the the fan is starting to run slow again, so I've had to replace the capacitor again. It takes very little time, and is very inexpensive.

I am pretty sure this is good product if it works with your ceiling fan, but unfortunately this didnโt work with my ceiling fan, so I had to return it.

My ceiling fan had been running on only 1 very slow speed for a year or more. This repair required 2 trips into the control box hanging under the fan. The first to locate and write down the details of the capacitor, and the second to install it. Bang, 3 speeds back in about 20 minutes work. The only thing I couldn't match was a mounting tab on the original Cap, that the replacement doesn't have. But this fan will be ok without it. Definitely worth repairing.
