Also includes a metal hook if using it for a different application. Installs and works just like the original. The only difference is the design on the front of the latch is a slightly different. It will not affect the form or function. Replaces Polaris part number 7081927. I decided to drill out the old rivets. I tried to use rivets but they really didn’t work as well as the original black rivets. So, I went with stainless steel 8-32x1” screws, lock washer, flat washer and a stop nut. It snugged up and worked well.

Perfect replacement for broken latch 0n 2015 Sportsman 570. Note it does not come with rivets or screws to fasten it on after removing old ones. I used machine screws.

It works and appears to be heavier duty than the OEM latches (does that really surprise anyone), but you don't need the additional attachment part supplied, for the '15 Sportsman 570, since one is molded into the deck lid, so we could have saved a buck or two for something that just got thrown in the garbage after installation. Maybe you can find one without the second part for less, elsewhere.

CON: This is NOT OEM! It fit just fine, But it does NOT match the original on ATV. So if you are replacing only 1 they will not match. So get 2 or look for an OEM for more money.PRO: This fit my 2015 Polaris 570 Sportsman SP perfectly.I didn't use rivets to replace. I went to ACE and got 2 of each....Black 1/2 inch #8 screw with a #10 large washer(for backing) and a #8 locking washer with a #8 locking nut for .80 cents X2 so total was $1.60 to install.
