Your cart is empty. We couldn't build a wall around you to block out background noise, so we did the next best thing: created a "focus zone" with the new Voyager Focus 2 headset. All you hear is your call with three levels of hybrid active noise canceling (ANC). All they hear is you with our pro-grade microphones using Poly Acoustic Fence technology. It's all the Poly next-level engineering you expect with the wear-it-all-day comfort you need. Connect to a computer with the included BT700 USB-A adapter and to a mobile via Bluetooth v5.1.

So far, it's great. I use it to work from home. My work PC disallows using Bluetooth, so I was unsure if these would work. From what I understand, they're a proprietary Bluetooth standard between the headphones and the included Bluetooth adapter. But because of that, it does work with my work PC. The headphones also work with standard Bluetooth, so it works with my Android phone, too. The noise canceling works amazing. Can barely hear around me in noisey situations. Sick of working from home, so working from public places. Can hear everyone on calls without issue in noisey situations. I've asked in noisey situations if they could hear all the background noise and everytime they say no, other than you talking, your dead quiet from your microphone. I'm so far amazed how well they work.

Really lightweight, easy to use, and reliable - there is nothing much to add :-) After around a month of daily use there is nearly nothing to complain on. Everything works great. Only thing I noticed is, that it probably don't like to be connected to a two device's at once, one by bluetooth and second trough the dongle. It behaves little strange then, music or other audio is distorted. It behaves like the headset is trying to play sound from both of the sources at once, but it sounds like muting and unmuting the playing audio.

El audio se escucha bien y nítido. El ajuste es muy cómodo y se conecta super rápido a la laptop y/o celular, no noto interrupciones en la conexión. Quizá el noise cancelling no es el mejor, pero por el precio está bastante bien.

I attend multiple conference calls during the day and was using a stereo wired headset with less than average comfort ear pads. I wanted a comfortable wireless headset purpose built for phone/conference calls. This headset checks all the boxes and more.Included: Headset, charging stand, usb bridge, black storage bag (neoprene exterior with felt interior), charging cable (usb-a to micro usb), small instruction booklet for poly software install.Headband - The headset feels sturdy and well made, the top band is metal, providing rigidity. The height adjustments click as you extend and retract and hold in their place well once adjusted. My old headset would readjust when I would extended it over my head when I put it on, the Poly adjustment holds firm.Earpads - they are on-ear and are very comfortable and soft, so wearing for several hours is not a problem.Speaker cup - The mic side has the volume controls and are easy to use. It also has small LED lights showing if you are on a call or off a call.Mic Arm - The mic arm is very solid and picks up my voice easily and clearly. It folds up in the center for storage. The mic arm can fold to either direction for Left or Right side preference. When it folds up, during a call it will toggle the mute feature.Mute button - The mute button is easily accessible on the mic arm and when you press it, it tells you if you are muted or unmuted. (great feature if you are not right at your desk) When you are muted and a noise happens or you talk, it will tell you "Muted". However, this will only occur after the first noise, so if someone near you says something or you type, it may pick that up and say "muted", and will not tell you again.Wireless - I really enjoy being wireless, I don't have to worry about pulling on a cable, I can get up and get a glass of water while on a call. The USB bridge has a good connection throughout my house.Power switch - When turned on, the switch has a green colored area clearly showing you its on. When you switch it on, the unit tells you if its connected and its battery life.Noise Cancelling - The noise cancelling is ok, its nice to have on the low setting during a meeting. Hearing my own voice sounds clearer when its on. The high setting is tiring on my ears after a little while and I have to turn it off.USB Bridge - The provided usb bridge is to connect to a computer, I prefer this over using bluetooth. The USB also has a light showing if you are on a call (Red) or off a call (Blue). Nice feature if you have people walking up to your desk.Charging stand - The charging stand holds the headset firmly, the bottom has rubber pads so it doesn't scratch your desk. It plugs in via USB to charge, no AC adapter is provided.Poly software - This runs in the background in taskbar, tells you when the headset connects or disconnects. The app will tell you battery life and in taskbar provides some ambient noise choices (Mountain Ranch, Gentle Ocean, Babbling Brook). Can setup alerts for disconnects, low battery.Storage - The earpieces swivel so the unit is somewhat flat when you place it in the provided zippered cloth bag. The provide bag also has an interior zippered pocket to hold a charging cable and usb bridge)I am very happy with my purchase and have recommended to some of my colleagues.

This review purely focuses on the Active Noise Canceling (ANC) properties of the Microphone! Meaning how you sound to other people. This is a brief initial review. I’ll update after a few months of use. However I think even the quick testing I did will be useful to folks looking.TLDR; the Focus 2 has overall much better mic ANC than the 5200 and your voice sounds much more natural and full bodied to the listener. Now I get that the Voyager 5200 (aka 5220) and this product (Focus 2) are a bit apples to oranges in form factor and typical use case. However, seeing as the Focus 2 is Bluetooth, and can charge via USB micro without the stand I consider them both contenders in the “portable” category. The reason I chose these two to compare is that when it comes to mic ANC for a portable BT headset. The 5200 is constantly the top rated headset and also the one I’ve used for the last 4 years. And the Focus 2 came up as the most impressive headset in terms of mic ANC (outside the Orosound, more on that later). For driving in a car the 5200’s ANC is tuned incredibly. Many people don’t know I’m in a car/truck. I’ve even been doing 60 with the windows down and folks said it’s barely noticeable. That said, the 5200 Mic ANC does not perform so well against types of sounds you make milling about your house and this was annoying my callers and killing me with frustration because i hate sitting still while on a call, so I was desperate for an upgrade. The brief test. I wore both headsets normally and tested a few common scenarios that cause the biggest annoyance for listeners.- crinkling a wrapper. Like that metallic plastic-ish type on protein bars or potato chips.- vitamix blender test (just for fun)- water running / washing dishes in the sink- 600 series roomba running nearby- toilet flush- sirens (I live near a fire station and off a busy intersection)- dogs barking—-The sirens and dogs were simulated by sfx clips played from my computer at full volume.—-Results:- crinkle test— Focus 2 - very faint, barely audible— 5200 - almost no attenuation, very loud, close to same volume as voice- vitamix— Focus 2 - good performance until the loudest levels (high speed) although you could definitely hear the blender and it was medium loud, voice still trumped the blender and speech was intelligible— 5200 - similar performance but the threshold of when it started getting loud was a bit lower speed and when it got to max speed the voice audio become choppy- water running and roomba— both performed the same, water was barely audible, roomba was a very low rumble, as if it was 2 rooms away vs at my feet- toilet flush— focus 2 - not audible at all— 5200 - didn’t test- sirens and dogs— focus 2 - audible but as if very far away, at least 80% quieter than actual and voice was very clear over the noise. If you were talking constantly at the same time as the noise you would barely hear either type of noise.— 5200 - very little attenuation, sirens and dogs were probably only 10% quieter than actual and nearly same volume as voiceVoice quality— focus 2 - much more natural sounding and well rounded. Got slightly more robotic when background noise was very very loud (maxed out vitamix)— 5200 - very “headset” sounding and electronic and shallow. Even when noise canceling wasn’t battling anything.-The focus 2 is 2X the price of the 5200, but it’s performance over crinkling, sirens, toilet, and dishwashing to me make it worth the long term trial. I already own the 5200 and will still keep it as it’s excellent for travel and car. But the focus 2 will likely become my primary around the house headset and for long working trips.—-Note on the Orosound Tilde Pro which I saw exclusively available on that headsets website. It looks legit. 3rd party reviews seem to be fine. However even their own video of Tilde vs Focus 2 doesn’t make it seem that much more remarkable if at all. Additionally I didn’t like the idea of the magnetic boom mic that could get knocked off and most importantly in my consideration it’s 4x the 5200 price and 2X the focus 2 price.
