This was a replacement for the exact same sign which had deteriorated over a few years. The new one was a bit smaller, so I had to drill new holes for the screws. I like the way the message is presented.

Plastic...would prefer it be metal for longevity sake but it is what it is.We have it hanging backwards (so facing in) on our backyard slider so that folks drinking know they need to dump their beers in a solo cup (which we have on a table right underneath the sign) before heading outside. I got this one for said purpose because I had the other one (which I've also reviewed) and folks didn't get it. I mean I'm not sure if they thought "oh clearly she doesn't mean me; besides if I break it I'll get it up" or they just didn't care but before this one I had to say (OFTEN) "umm...hey you...didn't you see the sign?"I have a dog and I like to enjoy my (all hardscaped) backyard barefoot and I'm not interested in a $250 vet bill or bending over holding my foot in one hand and tweezers in the other because you forgot about your empty glass or beer and the wind/bird/kids/unaware adult knocked it over. The cartoon man helps drive home the point that shards in ones foot (or paw) suck because we've all had it happen to us. I'm not saying it's brilliant but I will say that since I switched it out I haven't had to tell (or remind) ANYONE...

We had to stop people from bringing glass bottles to the pool bc one got broken and a child ended up having to get stitches bc of a piece that ended up in the shallow end of the pool :( this sign helps us get our point across without having to repeat "No glass bottles" like a broken record every time we have a get together at the house! It's very well made and was easy to put on the fence at eye level so that it can be seen by everyone who walks out to the pool! A+++
