As a seat, it's a little odd. The edges are so high that one feels a little like one is getting held up just on the sides. It's certainly an improvement over many stadium seats and such.The pump takes a bit of work. Pull out the tiny plug and start squishing it, waiting each time for it to refill via that tiny hole. Careful not to accidentally cover the hidden valve into the cushion on the other side of the pump because then it just becomes impossible to squeeze the pump area. Once it nears full (after so very many squeezes), the pump can only be partly squeezed. It does get there.There's no provision to allow a little air out. If you pumped too much, you'll have to open the outlet to reduce the air inside. When deflating, it takes a bit longer than normal to go out that tiny hole. Admittedly, this is like 4 seconds instead of 1. It gets there.It's a very common shape for a pillow and works well for that too. The fabric is soft and QUIET and the height excellent for side sleeping. It's tough fabric. The weight on my scale (which I keep confirming is working with some 5g nickels) is 131g, slightly heavier than listed. With the harder round pump, it doesn't fold down very much.
