I've been wanting a powdered sugar sifter, and I think I should have thought this one through more before ordering it.I like that it's dishwasher safe. I do appreciate that it's easy to scoop up powdered sugar in it, then turn it around and sift it onto something. It flows a little faster than I'd prefer, but it works.However, I didn't think about that next step after something is dusted with sugar. It's a ball-shaped item. It comes with on resting spot, it could roll if I place it on a bowl or plate, spilling out more sugar, and if it comes into contact with anything unclean, I wouldn't feel comfortable dipping it back into the powdered sugar container to get more powdered sugar. In that respect, it's incredibly awkward.I think I'll be looking for better options.

This powdered sugar sifter has a really simple design, which I appreciate. It’s super easy to use. Just slide back the top, pour your sugar inside, and you’re good to go. It lays down a nice, smooth layer of powdered sugar over whatever you're dusting.My only concern is the construction. It feels a little on the flimsy side, like if I dropped it, it might not survive. But for now, it’s doing the job, and I love how easy it is to load and use. Just hoping it holds up with more use.

Works great for flouring pans and dusting cinnamon-sugar onto snickerdoodles! Will find other uses for it as I get further into baking.
