I give this product 3 stars as it brakes better than OEM pads, however, they do squel in the morning as others may have stated. But after a mild run through the canyons it began to squel day after day.

I specifically bought these for my Genesis R-Spec based on reviews and that it fit the car. These pads did not fit exactly. The holes for the pins were too small! I had to drill them out in order to install these pads. They also squeal really bad in reverse. I didn't give it 1 star based on the fact that they do have adequate stopping power.

Installed these on my 2013 Genesis RSpec to help improve the braking capability of this big heavy sedan. They were very easy to swap out....almost like a quick change. The pads are much larger providing greater surface area. I have just a bit over 100 miles but so far, big improvement over OEM.

These pads are pretty effective even with high brake Temps. A very annoying squeal comes everytime the pads are cold and only for 1 or 2 stops. However, the squeal can wake the dead it is so loud! Once warm the pads are quiet most of the time, but once in a while they will be noisy for no reason. I can give 4 stars since the pads are not on my daily and also because they do not produce much brake dust. My OEM pads produced no dust. In conclusion, I don't feel like these are as aggressive of pad as the Hawk top of the line pads, so they should not bad as noisy as Hawks. I prefer Stoptech sport pads that on on my wife's turbo optima vs these pads on my genesis 4.6L sedan, but be prepared to clean your wheels 3 days a week with the stop tech pads. EDIT 5/29/2017. These pads to not properly fit in the genesis sedan. They chatter loudly when traveling over bumps, it's quite loud. The pads are also squealing like crazy almost all of the time. I would not recommend these pads for a genesis sedan with the 4 piston calipers that the V8 model is equipped with.

Installed on 2012 Genesis sedan 3.8. Easy process and they work great! Much better stopping power than OEM pads. Highly recommend!
