If you've never changed brake pads but have basic tools & auto mechanic skills very easy install especiallyusing the many youtube available instructional videos. The front clips are superior to original impressive considering the Corvette brakes are Brembo.. back identical. A few People stated on forums that the Powerstop Extreme pads caused a brown tint, I did not have that experience. Adding the Powerstop pads require an important & unique break in.. and if you don't live in a remote area ( requires 10-20 hard stops & accelerations ) I suggest performing at a time with no traffic. Last & most important.. Eliminates almost all dust!

Installation was spot on, didn't run into any hiccups at all. Performs just as good as my OEM ones when they were newer. Completely silent as it should be. But the best thing of all?? No brake dust!!! One my OEMs, after just a few days of driving, my silver 21" turbines would look charcoal (which is pretty cool as it hides some of my light curb rash lol). No longer the case with these. Even after 2 weeks, my wheels still look as clean as it did the day I washed it. Impressed!!!

The front pads on my Model X still have a ton of life on them, but I could not longer tolerate the amount of brake dust that accumulate on my wheels just a short time after every wash. I bought these pads because they promise less dust, and they kept their promise.These pads stop better that the OEM pads, make no more noise that the OEM pads, and truly produce almost no dust. I was skeptical when I ordered, and thought to myself that I will be happy even if they cut the dust in half, but am pleasantly amazed at how little dust they make. I no longer have a coating of dust after a few miles of driving, and even after a week, there is no more dust on my wheels than the rest of the car.Very happy with this purchase and will buy these again.

Maybe the occasional squeak when cold on the first stop, but nothing bothersome at all. And such an incredibly low amount of dust! Dust is also easy to remove and doesn't embed or anything. Stopping power is good and can easily lock the tires on my c7, however if pushed hard and really heated up (track driving) you will overheat the material and get some uneven pad deposits on the rotor causing vibration. However, this is not a mark against the pad as they are street pads and of course no street pad can withstand the heat of track driving.

Bought front and rear brake sets (Power Stop Z26-1474A Z26 Extreme Performance Carbon-Ceramic Front Brake Pad Set and Power Stop Z26-1718 Z26 Extreme Performance Carbon-Ceramic Rear Brake Pad Set) for 2014 Corvette Z51 to replace OEM Brembo pads. While Brembo pads had great grab the amount of brake dust generated on even short trips around town was horrible! My silver wheels were entirely black after a 4 hour road trip! The PowerStop pads have great grab as well, either equal to the Brembo or just a tiny fraction less grab but certainly not an issue for around town driving and road trips. I don't track my car but PowerStop claims you can use these pads for track and they have high resistance to brake fade even under track conditions. Brake dust is almost nil with the PowerStop pads! Now I only wash the wheels every time I wash the car, not after every trip. PowerStop website was easy to navigate to select the correct part for my car. Quick delivery. Cost half what GM wanted for new Brembos. Easy to install. Good installation videos on website. The only negative comment is that only one of the boxes contained replacement spring plates identical to the OEM spring plates but the other box contained a spring plate that fit but was too sloppy a fit for my liking. So I cleaned up the OEM spring plates and reused them and kept the good replacement spring plate for my next brake job.

The best part is the lack of brake dust.My wheels stay so much cleaner with these pads. They're definitely made for a high-performance cars and they stop my Camaro SS very quickly and smoothly even from high speeds. They fit the brake Brembo brake system perfectly. They are very quiet when driving and do not grind or squeal. However after the car has been parked in the garage for a couple of days they do make a horrible LOUD squealing sound until I get to the end of the driveway. After I drive it and brake a couple times they are super quiet. I will definitely buy these again.

Purchased these because I could not stand the amount of brake dust the stock pads produce. Purchased these from a referral, and have cut down the dust by 90%. These are very easy to install and feel almost identical to stock in terms of braking and stopping.Only con I found was these pads turned my rotors a slight brown colour.

These brake pads were purchased for my 2016 Chevy SS sedan which has Brembo brakes all around. The Brembos work really well, initial bite is hard, brake feel is very good, modulation is linear and predictable. The downside is the OEM/Ferodo brake pads create so much dust, the wheels are dark grey within a hundred miles.The Power Stop Z26 and Z23 are supposed to reduce the amount of visible brake dust without sacrificing braking performance. Power Stop claims these brake pads meet or exceed OEM braking performance.This may be true when comparing to non performance OEM brake set ups as my impressions were different.The rotors only have 7000 miles and did not have any rides or grooves. I used a flex hone to scuff the rotors to remove any glazing left by the previous brake pads. This is recommended when replacing the brake pads only on previous driven on brake rotors to ensure proper bedding of the new brake pads.The pads fit without any drama, although the shims where about 2mm longer. It did not affect the reinstallation of the pins. The supplied silicone/ceramic brake pad lube was barely enough to cover all the pad backs, side caliper contact points and pins. Would be nice to include two packs for vehicles with larger pads.After the few low and medium speed hard stops and cool down drives, the new brake pads felt seated. I never noticed any concern for my safety with these new pads.They felt linear and quiet during use but these did not have the same initial bite like the OEM Brembos. The pedal felt less sensitive but fine for swift street use that my car will see for 100% of its life.PROs: OEM like fitment, brake shims and lube included. Lowered visible brake dust, quiet, less than half the cost of OEM replacement. Cold temp braking seemed close to OEM.CONs: Not enough brake pad lube, slightly larger brake shims on this application, slightly less initial application brake bite. Unknown longevity compared to OEM.Bottom line: So is it worth trading off some performance for the reduction in visible brake dust? I can't answer for others, but for me. The answer is YES!

Replaced the OEM Brembo pads on a 2015 corvette and there is significantly less dusting (4 days of driving and there is no dust on the rims). The engagement of the brakes seem smoother and on the street the petal feel is about the same as the OEM pads.I didn't need to score the rotors since the OEM pads were semi-metallic and the new pads have appeared to have evenly distributed the pad material onto the rotor. I would guess if you already have ceramic pads you may need to clean the rotors or switch back to metallic pads for a few weeks.
