These blanks were VERY brittle. I have turned hundreds of pens. Out of 10 of these blanks, 2 shattered during drilling and 5 shattered during milling. I am not sure what is up, but if you buy these, be VERY VERY careful during the drilling and milling. Of the 3 that survived, I am about to start turning tonight. I will report back if the 3 remaining blanks have more problems.

The quality of these blanks are superb! Each one has unique color and pattern. I will definitely be ordering more! The pens we turned with this Cocobolo King are magnificent!!!

The wood blanks seem to have a false color stain on them, not even that deep. The actual wood here is much lighter in color than the actual described "cocobolo". Very shady business practice :(

These blanks when turned end up being a really odd orange color. I would not buy these again.

I love the grain in Cocobolo. The product arrived on time and the quality was as expected.

There is nothing premium about this cocobolo. I purchased 3 different wood packs from legacy at the same time, and it’s safe to say I will not purchase anything else from them. I’m very disappointed in the quality of wood they sell.
